old line, fine store 4/5/2010

Good: I have been customer of Murreys for more than 25 years. When I read negative reviews of outstanding business's I wonder what the other side of the story is. Murreys is unquestionably one of the MOST professional shops(in any category of service) I've ever encountered. They have done amazing repairs, not only for me but many of my friends as well. Their staff is accomodating, courteous and they go out of their way to be helpful. Check them out for yourself.. Improvements: Because they are the "best show in town" they sometimes run late.Thats unerstandable but they should notify customers if thats to happen. Other: everybody in store isVERY accomodating and friendly up to and including the candy jar and dog treats.. more

bouquets to Murreys 4/2/2010

Good: Was referred by several satisfied friends. Murreys did a DIFFICULT antique bracelet repair other fine jewelers said was impossible. It took ONLY 3 days, came out perfect and cost LESS than the estimate.Entire staff knowledgable, polite, friendly and anxious to please. Thera are always 2 sides to every story. Read the MANY good reviews and check them out yoursel. HOORAY for Murreys. Bad: Store is always VERY busy, waiting time for help is sometimes longish. Improvements: hard to improve on what seems to be the only on site jewelry and watch repair in NYC. more

Great Local Shop !!!!! 4/1/2010

I had my Tag Hauer watch serviced here and they did a great job,The watch is keeping perfect time. I returned to have a bracelet that belonged to my mom repaired and they did a terrific job with it, it looks brand new. I've been a customer here for 3+ years and would recomend them to anyone looking to have something repaired. The friendly and knowledgeable staff have helped me pick out several gifts for my wife all of which were a big hit. more
