My girlfriend and I went here last Thursday night, and it was fantastic. We started the evening with the Peperoni E Mozzarella, which I thought was rather bland and boring. Not looking forward to the entree at that point, I had the Pollo Alla Sorrentina while my girlfriend had the Penne Alla Boscaiola. Both were fantastic. We regularly will try each others dish and we both thought the others meal was just fantastic. We washed it all down with a bottle of the house red, and even that was fantastic, as our waiter said it would be. The night was made complete when our waiter caught my girlfriend when she was heading back from the wash room and told her we could not leave because the guy at the table next to us was about to propose to his girlfriend. He played the part for the guy perfectly, telling him twice that his card was being declined until the guy pulled out an engagement ring and said it was all he had to pay with. After she said yes, the waiter treated the entire room to a glass of champagne for a toast. An unforgettable experience! You gotta try this place.
Pros: Low key, great service, great food
Cons: Yankees game playing on the TV....Red Sox for life.
