Let's see ... last week my asthma medication ran out, spent 20 minutes on hold to speak to someone. They told me it would take 3-5 days for them to call in a prescription refill. Tha'ts okay, because breathing is overrated. Today I called to get some info about my vaccine history, spent 28 minutes on hold (looked on my cell phone) finally a voice comes on ""Yes can I help you."" I'm so startled (since I've been waiting 30 minutes, that' I'm like ""uh yes..."" and they hang up on me!!!\r
Now, I was already so fed up with them that I've changed doctors. p.s. Dr. Felsen is not a terrible guy but probably the worst rsonal physician I've had in my 40 year life. Doesn't describe anything, and isn't very thorough. \r
The nurse are fine. Anyhow, I'm a VERY patient guy, I guess lazy, because it's taken my 3 years to change physicians. But oh, how worth it!!!!!!!\r
avoid General Medical Associates!!
Pros: The Farmer's Market is across the street
Cons: Everything else: Can't get prescriptions refilled, can't get an appointment, operates like a Triage Unit in a war zone
