I used this place for a couple years for my contacts and glasses and never had much of a problem. The last time I went there for my contacts I had the eye doctor tell me that I didn't need toric lenses for my astigmatism, when I've been complaining of headaches, etc. I was like whatever and wen to another place and that doc told me I DO need them...HELLO?? Then, more recently, I recommended them to my parents, but my father had a difficult experience there too. Now, he's older, disabled, and hard of hearing and he's not very patient AND he asks a lot of questions, but doesn't always understand the answers. you'd think the doctor would be a little more understand and patient with him, but NO my mother said he didn't even LISTEN to my father. Then, my mother asked me to go back there and pick up his prescription so she could take him to a different place. When I went there after work, I parked out van and went inside. When I spoke with the receptionist, I told her what I needed, she asked me for my father's name and birthday, which I gave. Then she goes to get the prescription and comes back AFTER that to tell me that my FATHER has to come in and get the prescription! I mean, come on! I understand about HIPPA, i've worked in the medical field, but she couldn't have told me that BEFORE she went to get his prescription?? I had to go pull the van out and up in front of the building so my father could walk inside because he's not able to walk far distances. If she had TOLD ME BEFORE going to get it, I could have been moving the van while she was getting the darn prescription! It was just more of a hassle than it really needed to be. I doubt my family will be going back. And I first went there on a recommendation from a VERY good friend of mine who has had nothing but good experiences there for years.
