Friendly and fast service 8/16/2007

I went to get my haircut on a whim during my lunch break. Margaret, who is the owner, was very cordial and outgoing. The salon was clean and the waiting area was nice. It's a cozy place not a stark industrial look. I got the haircut I wanted and she recommended some shampoo/conditioner. The Salon is very clean, accomidating and very peacful. The services are great and make me feel it was worth he drive into Boston. I commute from Winchester just to see Margerit ( owner / stylist ) and she is very nice. I love the holidays in there. Always some GREAT treats, fabulous conversation and most of all ( aside from the great products ) the hair always looks great!!!!!!!! This is a very nice, cozy and soothing salon with a great experiance. I had my hair and nails done, and let me tell you about that experiance. The owner offered me tea and was very curtious. The girls that work there are fun and have plesant conversation. A very nice place to be, great salon, great atmosphere and most important, great service!!!!!!!!!! Pros: quality for the dollar!!!! Nice Salon 3/1/2007

I love the Salon, I love the girls that are now working there. I recommend this salon to anyone that wants to be pamperedby professionals. The conversation is very annoying and , like some other salons, the women that work there never complain about their own problems such as drunk boyfriends, hygenial problems and upset they are that they have not accomplished anything in their lives. That has been the case with other salon's, but not this one!!!! I love everyone there....I tried a new girl out, Megan, and she was great, funny and had an idea for my hair that worked wonders. I look forward to getting into Boston again real soon!!!!! They should win a "Best of Boston" award. I offically nominate you!!!! The best Salon I have ever been to. I have to tell you that this little "secret" of Boston is great. The staff is very curtious, clean and professional. I have never been seen a salon so clean and have a cozy feeling. I try to get there at least 15 miuntes before my appointment so I can sit in her waiting area and relax. The stylist, Margaret, is so professional and is up to date on all the styles. Her color is great and I have the best time in there. Pros: Very clean, upt to date knowledge of styles and awesome atmosphere Cons: Non that I can think of at the time! more

Salon Infineti is a monthly treat that makes me feel pampered and like a natural born blonde (only my hairstylist, Margaret, knows for sure and she promises not to tell). This Salon is a local best kept secret: a loft of a place with a cozy waiting area complete with plush couches, complementary beverages, and seasonal snacks and knick-knacks. The atmosphere is warm and friendly. Appointments run on time, and the owner is savy, sweet, and kind. The latest hair-care and color products are always on display, art work hangs on the walls, and local jewelery artists display their works. Revecca paints the best french-style nails in town. The customer service is excellent. Pros: Newbury St. excellence, neighborhood prices; great colorists and stylists; clean Cons: It's tucked away from the street. You'll need directions to find it the first time. more

Best Salon, Best Service and Anglea is GONE! 2/20/2007

I've been coming to Salon Infineti for 5 years. All the girls are great, with the exception of Angela, who has left... thank god. My stylist, Margaret is always positive, kind and will always accommodate my hectic schedule. She is a professional. Angela, on the other hand, was mean, loud and looked like a drag queen. She was very unprofessional, rude and nasty. Always talking about the men she slept with, her love of wine, etc. Totally classless. I pity the Salon that take her in. Okay I don't have the characteristics you described Angela as having. And neither does she!!! She is a wonderful hairdresser and was very professional with me. Very sweet and not dirty at all. She took care of me and my hair. Did exactly what I wanted and more. She also made me feel very comfortable. I loved her. I think you are a very rude and uptight person. I can?t say anything bad about the staff, EXCEPT for Meagan. I went to her because Angela was gone. And she butchered my hair. You people are crazy. Is the owner paying you to say these things? more

I agree with the other bad review. I was also approached with the "too good to be true" deal that gave me a ton of salon services for a small price. The sales person told me that this new salon wanted to reach out to new clients with this great new offer. When I tried to make appointments I was spoken to very rudely by the owner of the salon who would not even try to accomodate my schedule. I did manage to get an appointment and they was no one else in the place! So much for being busy. Angela, the woman who did my hair was great though, the best hair cut yet and I am picky. I would love to go back to her but refuse to deal with the owner again. Tip: with so many other NICER salons in the area, poor customer service will certainly not get you far. Best Salon in Boston by far! 10/11/2006

Since I moved here from Manhattan, it has been quite imposible to find a salon with the same caliber of service and savy which I was accustomed to. Salon Infineti made me feel right at home with their very professional services and friendly atmosphere. This is one of Boston's well kept secrets by far, and worth the wait ( which sometimes can be up to one week ). I have lived and worked in parts of Califonia, Manhattan and several parts of Europe and I must say that Salon Infineti is up to date on styles, products and services which make it a #1 in my book. They are very accomidating to my bi-monthly pampering and very seldom am I dissappointed with the times and days which I have requested.... A+++ Pros: Great service, beautiful salon ambiance, friendly people work there Cons: Second floor location no elevator service. more

Horrible service - a scam 8/14/2006

When an Ad Efx agent approached me with what seemed like a great deal for a package of 4 separate visits worth $220 (for $55) at Salon Infiniti, I was skeptical but signed on based on sheer economic sense. Despite the restrictions noted on the back (for example, they require a week's notice for an appointment), she made it seem like the management was eager to reach out to and please new customers and getting an appointment could be possible. When I called to make an appointment (on three separate occasions, I might add), I was lectured by an impatient and rude receptionist who did not seem at all eager to welcome new/ potential customers to the salon. When asked if there was any possibility of an appointment within a week, I was flatly told to read the conditions on the back of the package. When I tried to make a separate appointment (on another day in the following week) for another service, she said I was only allowed to make one appointment at a time and added rather necessarily, "we just can't accommodate so many appointments at once, we're very busy". I read the conditions multiple times and even asked her to point out the specific restriction, at which point she snapped that she did not have time to "read through the whole thing". Next, I was told that if I could not accept the program, I should "go get a refund". Considering the whole purpose of this marketing campaign, I was grossly disappointed and definitely turned off and immediately dispatched my refund request (which I continue to await). Can you imagine what it might be like if they weren't even "trying" to win customers? Way too much attitude, stress and hassle for what should be an enjoyable, relaxing and pampering experience! more
