Owner Message

  • Our romantic atmosphere and sumptuous menus are only part of ENO's equation for success. The main variable is our employees. Warm, accommodating, and educated, they're dedicated to helping you learn the intracacies of pairing wine, cheese, and chocolate. Whether you're a casual wine sipper or an expert on vino, you'll appreciate our individualized attention - given without pretension and pressure. We're truly a refreshing departure from established Chicago wine bars. Upon entry, you'll gaze upon our delicious cheese and chocolate displays. As you're escorted to your table, glass-enclosed wine racks containing 5,000 bottles surround you. And that's only the beginning. A gourmet cornucopia awaits you - 700 varietals of wine, 35 types of cheese, and an impressive selection of handmade chocolate truffles and bars. A preferred alternative to neighboring Chicago wine tasting bars.

Editorial

  • Whether it's a vintage Chardonnay from Sonoma, handmade truffles or aged gouda, this hotel lounge is dateworthy with its extensive selection of wine, chocolate and cheese. The menu covers 300-500 varietals of wine housed in a glass cellar, cheeses representing 35 small producers from around the world and handmade truffles and bars from local chocolatiers. The intimate space keeps it sultry with an oxblood reds, leather walls and quartzite floors.
