This store sells expensive togs for North Shore residents, but because of their unreliable service and lack of expertise, it is not really for the serious rider. I rode 1600 miles this summer, including (so far) two centuries. I had a flat in August. Since I was in Highland Park for business the next day, I paid them to change the flat (not as easy as it sounds on my good bike). They returned the tire to me at the end of the day and I went on my merry. The next morning, I found that the shop had only inflated the tire to about 40 psi. I pumped it up to the recommended 120psi and the tire blew. Obviously there was a small pinch that wasn?t a problem until the higher psi (which is why I was willing to pay a professional to change it. I had to change it myself and missed my ride. The next weekend, I was on the Green Bay trail. I stopped in and told them what happened. I didn?t want a refund, just an acknowledgement that they didn?t do a good job. The staff member basically said that he didn?t believe me and turned his back to go sell some $15 water bottles.
Pros: Lots of clothing and equipment
Cons: Rude service and lack of expertise
