At the recommendation of another business in Fort Oglethorpe area, I took my car to Maxi Auto Service to have a gasket replaced on my muffler. After having asked questions about having the part put on the car, the service man began to ignore me altogether. He walked away from the counter with his clipboard as if he were going to coem write a service order. Then he came back in. I was still standing at the counter when he asked the young Causcasian man behind me if he needed any help. He answered that question and started working on the computer. Still standing there, a caucasian couple walked in and he again overlooked me and began to have a conversation with them about a vehicle. So I asked how long it would take, and what time they closed. He abruptly answered my question and I handed him the keys and walked out.
About 2 minutes later I returned to get my keys and my car because it was apparent that he didn't want my business or my money. I walked back into the small waiting area and his response to me was, "What do you want?" I requested my keys and left. It was very apparent that I was not the type of clientele that he was used to or wanted to serve. It is ashame that this type of attitude still exist especially during a time when it looks as though America is moving in a new direction. A direction that leaves racism and bigotry in the past. I will not recommend Maxi Auto Service to anyone nor do I plan to patronize this business.
Pros: Close to my house.
Cons: Attitudes were not good
