Good food and ambiance 7/14/2007

Duke's in Lihu'e is like Duke's in Honolulu: good view, good ambiance. At the Duke's in Lihu'e, I had a cheeseburger which was pretty good. The crowd is definitely touristy, but the ambiance is nice nonetheless, largely because of the proximity to the beach and the view of the bay Pros: Ambiance, View, Food Cons: Touristy more

Duke's is a somewhat touristy restaurant located in the touristy resort area by the Marriott Kaua'i Beach Club in Lihue. Don't let that fool you, though - they serve some great seafood in fairly large portions. The salad bar is a little weak, but the mahi mahi, served Duke style, is excellent. more

Best Dining in Hawaii 1/4/2003

One of the many restaurants as part of the TS Restaurant chain. Love the food and atmosphere. Each place has its unique style. Pros: Great food, Great atmosphere, Good parking Cons: Service slow at times, Can be crowded, Expensive more
