I have romanticized the 40 Watt so completely that I am really not able to say anything objectively bad about it. The sound is usually good, and the shows I have seen there changed my world and shaped my youth. I love the staff for never having kicked me out, not even once, not even if I truly, truly deserved it for whatever drunken back- stage- when- I- wasn?t -supposed- to- be- shenanigans I was up to. The venue itself is a little bit dreamy and whimsical with all the twinkly lights, and the drinks are strong, cheap and served by really really nice people. The 40 Watt is iconic, and I hope it?s around forever. Pros: $2 tall boys Cons: not enough seats more
