Fabulous Antiques 8/26/2011

I have shopped all over Atlanta and Antiques is Vinings is one of the few shops where you can find true authentic antiques. I have shopped there for many years and on more than one occasion the dealers have found pieces for me I was searching for. They are so friendly and helpful. I recently visited their new location on Mountain Street, The new shop is so elegant and beautiful and filled with wonderful antiques and art. This shop is a must see for all antique lovers! more

Lovely Antique Shop 8/26/2011

I was driving through Vinings today and saw an\r ""Antiques of Vinings"" sign with an arrow pointing down the hill behind the Old Vinings Inn. Thinking that this shop was in Vinings Jubilee Center, I followed the arrow and made a most wonderful find. The antique shop in Jubilee closed, however, three of the dealers\r have recently reopened ""Antiques of Vinings"" in a lovely historic house, circa 1828. (I can't wait to learn more about the history of Vinings).....but back to this quaint shop. It has gorgeous antiques from England, the most beautiful paintings, and exquisite antique silver.\r Oh, and I forgot to mention the beautiful vintage linens!\r I met one of the owners and thoroughly enjoyed talking to her. She was so gracious and nice. I can't wait to tell all my friends about my fabulous discovery today! more

Rude Service 11/3/2010

I have had two experiences with the owner one in person and one over the phone...The first one, I visited the store one day..I was the only customer in the store and she was doing paperwork....I was in the store at least 25 mins before anything was said and I was the one to speak up first to ask a question...then today I called to get dealer info and she said ""I am with a customer, I don't even know what you are talking about"" and hung up the phone!!.. obviously she is in the wrong business because she has NO customer service skills at all....Buyer Beware!!\r more
