This is the single worst restaurant that I have ever experienced. I ignored the warning signs, Portofino is in a strip mall, and at the beginning of the dinner hour. All business were crowded except this one. No one else was here. We were led to the only table in the room without a little yellow sign explaing the up charge for bread, due to high wheat prices. The waitress was nice, but clearly embaarassed by managements policies. Half the food was bad, half was inendible. We returned a $12.00 meal , which they took off the bill but charges us separately for the accompaning salad and pasta. We got about a buck off for the bad entree. I usually find many redeeming qualities in a place which is not great, perhaps poor management but some good recipes from mama, but in this case, Mama must have wpent al of her days in the kitchen of a Sicilian prison. If you want to go, go soon, they will not last.
Pros: You should always be able to find parking and a table
Cons: The ample parking and seating is because the place is terrible.
