Pediatrics 5280

We have been seeing Dr. Bosley for our son for almost one year and he has always been fantastic, with us and most importantly our son. He takes the time to go over everything, and give you time to ask any questions you have as well, I never feel rushed or that I/my son don't matter. more

Every time I have taken one of my children in for a scheduled visit I wait on average 45 minutes or longer. Today after waiting over an hour for the Dr., I asked the front desk how much longer it would be seeing as I had to pick my daughter from preschool at 11:30. The desk clerk comes back and tells me she doesn't think I'll make it to get my daughter on time. I am crying in front of her and expressing my frustratrion with the situation. I had the pleasure of working with Dr. Bouzarelos in Summit county before my son was born and know first had that he has the highest professional integrity as well as qualifications. Pros: Professional and Accomodating more

Dr. Wallendahl has been my childrens' pediatrician since we moved to Denver in 1999. We've always been able to get an appointment when either were ill - and at all times otherwise. I never feel rushed - and they take time to address any questions or concerns that I have during an appointment. In ten years, we've never felt that the staff was unfriendly or rushed. They moved out of the DTC around the time that we moved downtown but we still make the trek to take them here. Pros: Friendly staff. Knowledgeable. Ease of appointments. Doctor always listens. more

I don't know how anybody can complain about Pediatrics @ DTC (Pediatrics 5280). We have three children 21 to 10 and have been seeing Dr. Tschetter for 17 years. He and the whole staff are awesome. He was president of the medical staff at Children?s Hospital of Denver. All the doctors are well accredited, friendly and attentive. When Dr. Tschetter isn't on duty, there is always another Dr. who will see your child. They also have weekend hours. We've called many times for acute sicknesses and they hold same day appointments for those children who need to see a Dr. right away. When you call with symptoms, a nurse always calls back to access. Dr. Tschetter has 7 children, countless grandchildren and a couple of great grandchildren, so he understands the many illnesses children face and the matrix of families. He's always been right on with his diagnoses and treatment. Just remember they are there for your children?s welfare first, so if you have to wait a few minutes (which we rarely do) it is for the best of your child, who probably minds the wait less than you. They were on time and the appointment went swiftly. I appreciated how clean & new the facilities were. I did feel however that the staff was cold and unfriendly, and did not make much of an attempt to connect with my child. I probably would not recommend the office to a friend or relative at this time. Pros: Clean office Cons: Detached staff more

I looked at several pediatricians close to downtown Denver and did not find neither a practice nor a pediatrician as courteous or available as the staff at Pediatrics DTC now Pediatrics 5280. We would drive 30 minutes each way just to see Dr. Bouzarelos when our daughters were sick. He is the most professional, understanding and caring doctor. He is also a parent so he knows what it is like to have a sick child. My daughters, my husband and I really appreciate his care and knowledge. As a new mom he appeased all my worries. Also, his wonderful sense of humor always made my girls laugh and take their ear infections lightly. We have now moved across the nation however if we came back to Denver he would continue to be our Pediatrician and the extremely helpful staff at Pediatrics 5280 our support. Thank you Dr. B. more

Terrible Dr office, never keep scheduled appointments. You?re lucky to be seen within 1/2 hour of your time. The dr's always have an excuse. Just awful. We will not be returning. They left my husband and two youngest children ages 6 months and 2 years waiting over an hour in the room. After an hour, my husband re-dressed our infant and decided he was going to leave. On his way out, he ran into our Dr. our Dr asked where he was going. My husband explained that our children are too young to be waiting that long, my daughter waited over an hour with only a blanket and diaper on. The dr made the excuse that he was with an 18 year old patient that suffered from seizures, stds and does illegal narcotics and when he comes in he spends ?extra? time with him. I do believe this is illegal for a dr to share this information with someone other than the patient. It is so unprofessional to leave a family waiting over an hour with no one giving an update, asking if we need to reschedule ? like we are not important and have nothing better to do with our time. This place is appalling. more

We have had our children seeing Dr. Middlemist for the past 13+ years. She is a terrific and we would never think of changing to anyone else. Pros: - Never had an issue more

We have been to a number of pediatric doctors, prior to Dr. Bouzarelos. I can honestly say he completely puts everyone we have seen to shame. We drive all the way from Brighton to DTC to go to his office. It is worth the 45 minutes to know you are getting very personalized care and that he takes your children's health very seriously. You never walk away feeling like more should have or could have been done. Pros: Rapport with children makes unpleasant situation much better, friendly and helpful staff Cons: Get an office up north! :) more

We love him! Whatever we had to say has already been said! To reiterate: very professional and friendly, making you feel as though your child is the only one he will be seeing that day. Dr. Bouzarelos has been our pediatrician since our youngest was born in Vail. He actually moved to this practice when we moved to Denver, so we were lucky! Our kids love him and so do we! He knows our children's history, knows what makes them tick, and has been nothing less than superbly professional and friendly. Dr. B is a great doctor, always spending time with everyone, making you feel as though your child is the only one he will be seeing that day. He is kind and compassionate and really loves the kids. Dr B is the best pediatrician I have ever been fortuante enough to meet. He was in the hospital within hours of out 1st daughter being born, even though it was 8AM on Thanksgiving & he was still living in Silverthorne! His care & manner are amazing. he makes you feel so special & your child feel at ease. No question is stupid & you never leave without a hand out of imporatant information.
