when I made reservation for the lodge and the restaurant at this place I was really excited. The cabin (#3) it has an incredible view Unfortunately it wasn't really cleaned. For 137$ plus taxes I expected it to be at least vacuumed, it was dusty too.\r
We had a glass of wine at the rbar and relized right away that they were dirty. we didn't want to complain since it was our wedding anniversary. We had reservation for dinner, nice table by the window (as requested ). We order two glasses of wine and with them two glasses of water. Again the 4 glasses were so dirty and sticky that we had to complain and send them back. Our dinner didn't start very well. it made us wonder how filthy the kitchen might have been. We had to send our glasses back 4 times since they kept coming back with residual of foods and greasy fingerprints all over. At that point my expectations were almost down to zero. We ordered an 18$ special appetizer and we were served 2 persto scallops, totally flavorless. Cots of each scallops 9$ . We shared a fish bisque which was delicate and preatty good. We shared the cononut prawns not too bad but again not impressive. My husband wanted to get the filet mignon but they were out at 8pm. He got pork (not memorable) I ordere a fried Hallibut in Almonds and mango sauce. The hallibut was flavorless,not taste of almonds and the mango salsa was so cold that made my fish cold too. We shared a cheesecake , it wasn't bettere then the cheesecake factory .The overall experience was disappointing due to the fact that the restaurant and the lodge wasn't clean enough. We expected the owner or the hostess to apologie with us. If you stop by for a glass of wine please make sure where they will serve your drink. I would probably go back to the lodge if it was a little more clean.
