A Dream Veterinary Hospital!! 5/14/2012

Bishop Ranch Veterinary Hospital is a dream for pets and their owners. The doctors are absolutely amazing, the Vet Techs are right their by your side every inch of the way, their Patient Care facility is the best around and the rest of the staff that greets you, guides you and ensures you are all set is truly committed to you and your pets needs. The entire facility and how it's run is of the highest quality. The entire staff are angels that have been put on this earth to watch out for all of us. The treatments are always explained thoroughly and they are forever available for questions. Their professionalism can not be beat. We always brag to family and friends that we are clients of the best Veterinary Hospital and we truly believe that! They offer everything and anything for all types of pets - it's truly impressive. Professionalism, Quality of Service, Courtesy, Integrity ... this is them! more

Excellent care and service from friendly and professional staff! 5/4/2012

We have been clients of Bishop Ranch Vet for several years, with three different pets. The quality of service is unmatched by any other Vet we have experienced. The office is open 7 days a week with extended hours, the office is staffed with several doctors, all of which seem to know exactly what to do. The reception staff is friendly and efficient, and everyone is caring of the pets, from the boarding facility, to the Doctors and nurses. We can not say enough, and have sent several of our friends to Bishop Ranch. We have been through it all at Bishop Ranch, from the routine visits, the emergencies, and the surgeries. We would not trust our pets to anyone else! more

Gracie our cat which enjoys living outside 5/1/2012

Noticed our cats hair falling out in large clumps. Being very concerned I asked friends where a good Veterinary. They recommended Bishop Ranch Veterinary Center. Turned out to be a great place to take Gracie. The people are very friendly and knowledgable. Gracie took an instant liking to them. They spent the time to figure out how to help Gracie. They had everything needed in stock. I highly recommend them. more

I've been going to Bishop Ranch Veterinary Center since they opened 12 years ago. There are a lot of great vets in the Bay Area, but there are few practices that combine such a wonderful group of doctors and specialty services in one location. In addition to the normal small animal services, they have appointments on nights and weekends, round the clock care if your pet is hospitalized, holistic medicine, as well as boarding. You just can't do better. I have exotic pets and not every practice treats them. At BRVC I know my pets (and me) will get amazing and compassionate care from the time we step through the front door. Wouldn't bring my pets anywhere else! 4/24/2012

I worked for Bishop Ranch Veterinary Center for about 8 years so maybe I am a little biased, but I am also able to say that I understand first hand how great of a place it is. It's a hospital where, because of number of doctors they employ and the expansive specialties they cover, your pet will receive expert care for an incredibly wide range of needs. Preventive care, holistic medicine, emergency and urgent care, 24-hour patient acre, sonography, elective and specialty surgery, reproductive services, in house lab service, radiology, boarding and grooming, and the list goes on! more

I have been very happy with this vet center and their flexibility. I have a pit bull dog and unlike most places they aren't afraid of her which is a good start. The care she has gotten there has been fair and I feel she has been treated well while she is there. Prices seem reasonable though they aren't going to cut you any breaks because they love animals. The facility is very nice and they have all of the most modern equipment so if your animal had some strange disease they should be able to handle it all in house. more

Open 7 days a week and evenings. Bonus! The staff is always friendly even when there's a line forming - they always take the time to greet each human and their furry and/or feathered companion and the veterinarians answer any and all questions. more

The best veterinary hospital I've utilized--bar none. This place is always jam packed, but you certainly understand why when your best buddy gets sick. The docs are top notch, the techs are caring and the staff is knowledgeable and helpful. I find the prices in line with other such establishments, even though the care is so much better. more

Fantastic 7/6/2011

The facility is fantastic and the vets are top notch. This is easily the best vet center in the east bay. There are a lot of vets, including a number of specialists, and the equipment is state of the art. I had a dog at another vet that casually said that he might have a very serious condition. I took him to Bishop Ranch where they brought a specialist down from Davis to spend a long time going over my dog. In the end, he was fine and the first vet was wrong. It happens, but it was very expensive to check up on and if the first vet hadnt been so convinced of his (non-existent) condition, we wouldnt have pushed so hard to get him checked out like this. It was worth it, but still. more

With extended hours and convenient times for emergency and routine treatment, the hospital provides routine medical, specialty and emergency/urgent care services weekdays until 10pm and 8pm on weekends. We provide veterinary care for dogs, cats, birds and exotic pets.

    In addition to routine and urgent care, we provide specialty services that include Acupuncture, Chiropractic, Reproductive, Internal Medicine and Surgery.

    Extra services include: Boarding, Grooming and a full-service Pet Supply Store.
