This is my favorite restaurant in Ventura. Consistently the best food and probably the only restaurant where you are likely to be greeted by the owner at the door. The daily specials menu is seasonal and so sea bass and halibut come and go depending on the catch, the peach dumpling is only around in peach season and is replaced by the apple dumpling the rest of the year. It doesn't look like a steakhouse but the Filet Mignon is always perfect.
