Simply the best restaurant in Southern California!! The service is great (ask for quirky Porter). The scallops are amazing the steaks are melt in your mouth perfect everytime and the desserts are too delicious to even attempt to pass on (try the bread pudding and the flourless chocolate cake. Its owned and operated by a husband and wife team who've both worked in big name places (he as head chef, her as pastry chef) so the meal from start to finish is absolutely delectable. The parking is free and plentiful, the wine list is great with reasonable prices, the ambience is great (some nights there's live piano music) and its simply the best restaurant with reasonable prices ever (he could charge more and easily justify it with the out of this world food). Try it once and you'll drive past all those laguna beach restaurants happily . . .
