First of all, their waiters are singing waiters - they were so loud you could not have a decent conversation at the table. Secondly, the waiters were so impressed with themselves, obviously there only to be discovered by someone, and made very little effort to service their customers. We waited 1/2 hour just to get our menus and have them ask if we wanted a drink. We were never told of the specials (we had to ask), and we had to ask for water. Thirdly, the food was incredibly disappointing. Not only did we wait for over 1 1/2 hours, but the food was not at all what the menu described. The salads were served with a watered down dressing. The shrimp and scallop with saffron risotto was made with regular long grain rice, anyone who has had risotto would know this, and it was not made with saffron - it was a very light runny tomato base sauce.. The fact it was made with regular rice made it terrible. When we complained about the service and the food, we received only excuses. They insisted we order another dish in which they produced within 5 minutes (why did the others take 1 1/2 hours??) and then they had the nerve to charge the us the more expensive price of the replaced order. Unbelievable - I rarely complain about restaurants and certainly never make it known to the restaurant owner and waiters, but this was the ultimate of bad service and food. Would never recommend this place to anyone. Amy the waitress was incredibly cocky and arrogant which did not help matters. She chose to argue with all of us about the food, which escalated the bad experience even more.
