Really yummy 8/25/2010

Simply delicious. I have to say it is one of the best Italian restaurants that I have ever been to, if not the best! Really yummy pasta dishes. The strawberry napoleon dessert was also delicious. Very reasonably priced. Gets very busy so definitely make a reservation. Give yourself some extra time to find parking. more

Worth may return visits 7/4/2008

We had an excellent meal recently. There was plenty of people watching available. While it is not white linen table cloth the food is great, the atmosphere is energetic, and the prices are very reasonable. We'll definitely be back for some more great pasta. Pros: great food at a good price Cons: there can be a wait even with reservations more

Italy in America 6/20/2008

If you're looking for Italy in America, you've found it here. I came here after hearing a friend rave about the food and the ambience of the place. I really enjoyed it despite the fact that I had reservations for 9PM and I had to wait for 20 minutes. I figured that I was going to an Italian restaurant and if it was really authentic, then it was going to ""feel"" like I was in Italy. The place had the ""aura"" of the small Venetian cafes where you can order massive plates of pastas. I had one of the cream pastas specials with Amaretto - it was delicious. Accompanied with Shiraz red wine - mm! It was wonderful. Despite the wait, it was a worthwhile adventure and great evening! Pros: Italian food, ambience Cons: Waiting time more

The Best Italian Food Ever! 11/7/2007

Oh my wow! The food here is absolutely amazing! We went to this restaurant because of a recommendation from a friend. It was so so worth it. I had the tortellini with ham and peas, which was a perfect balance between salt and sweet! My friend had their salmon ravioli with cream and caviar, which was incredible. This place is so good that we are grabbing lunch their today. Oh, and we took home a cannoli that was delish too! Pros: Italian speaking staff, great service, a foodie's dream come true! more

Fun for dinner dates 2/1/2007

We had such a cute date here! It's not too fancy, but much nicer than a pizza parlot -- the perfect date spot. It's a little ""lively"" (and by that I mean noisy), but we had the best pasta and the best wine and the best time. Ciao! Pros: Cute atmosphere Cons: a little loud more

  • Located in the heart of Hillcrest and voted best Italian restaurant in San Diego many years in a row, Arrivederci saw its first day in 1995 thanks to the Mastellone Family. His philosophy : deliver simple food at a reasonable price with friendly service. Later the group of restaurants will grow with Au Revoir Bistro, Il Postino, Buon Appetito, Piacere Mio, Sorrento,...) Authentic Italian restaurant, Arrivederci, has a casual ambiance, traditional Italian cuisine and an atmosphere that transports you directly to Tuscany, and the middle of Campania! Our Italian homemade cuisine is a perfectly inexpensive recipe, a little bit of tradition, an ounce of modern Italian cooking inspired by different regions, and a big cup of love from our Chef and his team.
