My experiences at Zoe-A Pilates Studio have been outstanding. The staff is not only very knowledgeable and pleasant, but they are great at challenging you as your learn more and get better at the exercises. They encourage you to learn the ""system"" of Pilates (for lack of a better term) so you're able to take part in mat classes, work with other students in group lessons and in some cases work independently when your schedule makes it hard to take a lesson.
Most important to me, the staff is able to deal with each person's particular body ""as it comes."" I have a bad back, and it's improved tremendously thanks to my workouts here, and exercises the teachers steered me away from before are things they can guide me through now because I'm strong enough to do them thanks to them working me up through a series of exercises to build my strength up over time.
The location is awesome (The great Playhouse district), the studio is really lovely, and there are lots of local retailers to stop in and visit if you want to do some errands after your workout.
Definitely make this studio your first stop if you're interested in Pilates.
Pros: All instructors trained in traditional Pilates method
Cons: I didn't find any
