I had traveled to the Torrance/Gardena area for work from the San Franciso Bay Area where we always compliment ourselves for having amazingly fresh, wonderful sushi. Knowing that I was in an area that was predominantly filled with Japanese businesses, I knew that I was going to get a wonderful sushi meal some place but I had no idea I was going to stumble accross such a gem. When we walked in, it was hard not to notice that almost the entire restaurant was filled with Japanese businessmen. All of the specials were written in Japanese and I found very traditional Japanese menu items. We sat at the sushi bar and I ordered the Chirachi lunch since the fish looked amazing and was surprised since it was the first time I've ever been in a sushi restaurant where they actually butchered a whole fish in front of me! It was by far, the best fish I'd ever had. We also tried the Uni since we were told it was the restaurant's signature ingrediant, it was wonderful. I would also recommend the Sunomono as a starter. The service was great, friendly but still quick. We enjoyed it so much, we returned three days in a row. I can't stress enough what a wonderful restaurant this is.
