I consider myself to be somewhat of an expert on LA's coffee shops; I'm one of the hordes of people who likes to plunk down with a steaming cup of coffee and get some work done on my laptop. This particular activity is such a commonplace sight in LA's coffeeshops, perhaps more than any other city in the world, what with everyone working on that script or pilot show. It is very much a part of the culture of our city. That being said, the Coffee Table is the absolute WORST place to get some work done. Where to begin? To start with, this place has visible a/c outlets next to every table in there, but get this, NONE of them work. In fact, there are only two places you can plug your computer in, one at a very inconvenient bar-type area near the cash register where you get to sit on a bar stool of all things while people form a never-ending line behind you, and the other near the bathroom but where they won't allow you to plug in anyway because the wire lies along the floor. Apparently these two outlets that work are ""charging stations"" where you leave your computer while it charges and come back to get it when you're done...doing something else with your time. One word: dumb.\r

It doesn't end there. The seats are uncomfortable, and the coffee often lukewarm. \r

I'm sorry, but until this place wakes up and really gets with the times, it is NOT recommended by any means.
Cons: (No place to charge computer, lukewarm coffee, unfriendly staff)
