Recently went here on a Friday nite for the ""Thrill Me"" musical about the murdering duo from 1920's Chicago. When we bought the tix we didn't know it was a musical, but the quality of the performance was pretty top notch. Good actors (one of them was even Harvard-educated) and solid voices. The theater is what you'd expect from an indie space trying to make cool art--raw, gritty and creatively appealing. Most of the crowd was comprised of older men and there wasn't a bad seat in the house. The valet was a bit of a joke since it's literally across the small street (Curson) so it was sorta lame we had to pay to park the car ourselves even though it was 'valet.' Other than that, it was a great alternative to another Friday nite @ the Arclight.
Pros: Live entertainment; friendly staff
Cons: the surrounding area has no restaurants worth checking out
