I thought I would never find a place in LA with the same quality croissants I had in Paris, but I have been proven wrong. The plain croissant here is crispy outside and fluffy inside, not huge and not too small. With a latte and a bit of jam, it is a true continental breakfast. And, if that's not enough, their hash browns are a far cry from the greasy, soggy mess you usually get a diners, looking more like a potato pancake--deliciously crispy and not too heavy. If you make it there at 7am, you can get the bakery goods hot from the oven. The only drawback is the price, which is higher than normal (about $3 for a croissant). But, hey!, if you don't spend the money on a good thing once in a while, what's the pont of earning it in the first place?
Pros: Best croissants, Nice ambience, Great food
Cons: Pricey, Crowded at peak times
