We absolutely loved Dr. Tew and his office! They were all so nice and explained everything to my children and myself. Dr. Tew had such a fun bedside manner and was really kind to my children. He was very funny with my kids. His staff is very nice and took the time to make sure all my questions were answered. We love this office and highly recommend them. more

Our Favorite Dentist 5/4/2010

We've tried many dentists over the years and we like Dr. Tew the best. He is very kind to the kids, takes time to explain things to me and really cares about my kids dental health. His staff are amazing. Very professional and caring. I recommend him to all of my friends. The office is also one of the cutest I've ever seen. more

Great For kids 6/16/2006

We took our kids here because Dr. Tew specializes in preventative orthodontics. That means that he looks at the kids mouth and sees what can be done to prevent them from having to have braces. This is a great place to bring children to. The staff works with children so carefully to make them comfortable. We though the office was decorated so cute for kids. They have a tree playhouse. I love that they try to prevent the child from having to have braces. I would love to go back to this dentist, but our insurance doesn't cover them very good. When it comes to the orthodontics, I will go back when my kids are ready for them. PROS: Great For Kids CONS: Insuance Coverage more

 • Pediatric dentistry is the specialty of dentistry that focuses on the oral health and unique needs of young people. After completing a four-year dental school curriculum, two to three additional years of rigorous training is required to become a pediatric dentist. This specialized program of study and hands-on experience prepares pediatric dentists to meet the unique needs of your infants, children and adolescents, including persons with special health care needs.

We are concerned about your child's total health care. Good oral health is an important part of total health. Establishing us as your child's, "Dental Home" provides us the opportunity to implement preventive dental health habits that keep a child free from dental/oral disease. We focus on prevention, early detection and treatment of dental diseases, and keep current on the latest advances in dentistry for children.

Pleasant visits to the dental office promote the establishment of trust and confidence in your child that will last a lifetime. Our goal, along with our staff, is to help all children feel good about visiting the dentist and teach them how to care for their teeth. From our special office designs, to our communication style, our main concern is what is best for your child.. We recommend that your child be seen every six months for preventive care. During these biannual appointments,Dr. Tew will also assess your child's dental & skeletal development and how it relates to future orthodontic treatment. Dr. Tew is trained in the application of orthodontics and will regularly discuss treatment options, concerns and any referrals if needed.

Based in the results of your child's initial examination including x-rays,we may recommend one or more follow-up visits for completion of any existing dental treatment.

Many times extensive and costly dental and orthodontic treatment can be averted through timely pediatric care as the face, jaws and teeth are developing.
