Went to dinner at Nia's last night. It wasn't too busy, which was nice. There were only a couple of other people in the restaurant, so it felt like we had the place to ourselves. The staff was very attentive. The chef, Greg Cannon, took personal care of us! I totally reccommend going there on a Sunday or Tuesday or Wed. night. For starters we had the Barrata, which is a creamy buffalo mozzarella, served on a bed of arugala, drizzled with truffle oil. It was one of the most decadent things I have ever had! The other highlight was the Porcini and wild mushroom rissotto, which is the best rissotto I have ever had in a restaurant, hands down. If you go there, and it's not on the menu, ask for it! The tiramisu was infused with some wild italian cherries, which took it to a whole new level, and if you like tiramisu, you have to try this this one! The wine list was really good and moderately priced, and I look forward to going back once they change the menu this week, to sample the new lighter fare.
