Mojo is a very stylish looking restaurant that is featured in an American Express commercial. However, the commercial gives the impression of the restaurant being much larger than it really is. During the time of my recent visit, the restaurant did not take reservations. So, it was first come first serve and there really is not adequate space for waiting inside for your table, so most patrons wait outside. With winter approaching it would be beneficial to customers to be able to make reservations, therefore limiting the wait time. There appears to be a limited number of waiters, I noticed only 2, and as a result the service is slow, although the staff is friendly. The wait for drinks and the main meal was uncomfortably long for such a relatively small restaurant. The food was tasteful although vegetable portions provided with the fish appeared to be more suited for decorative purposes than for consumption. The quality of wines being offered by the glass must be improved as there was only one white wine that would be considered good. Overall I was glad I experienced Mojo as it is an indication of the types of restaurants that are opening in Harlem. With the implementation of corrections to all or most of the issues mentioned above I look forward to Mojo being a restuarant that I would return to and also recommend to friends and family..
