I went in for a simple cleaning, but quickly realized this place was a nightmare when the dentist looked in my mouth and sent over a woman with a clipboard and videos for me to watch. After reeling off a number of unnecessary procedures that I "needed" to have, such as veneers and invisalign, the woman gave me an estimate of $7000. I advised her I would stick with my cleaning, thank you. However, she stated "well the doctor recommended the ultra cleaning," for an exorbitant price. I informed her I would stick with my insurance-covered cleaning. She proceeded to argue with me that this cleaning was not recommended because the ultra cleaning used a water pik or some "special" tool. Seriously. I left with my insurance-covered cleaning and never went back.
