Great show 5/22/2010

I love shows and this one is one of the best I have seen in Vegas. High class experience from the line to get in, to the show, to the time you leave and go to the buffet down the hall. A great overall Las Vegas show experience. A lot of music and things to see. A great show for the eyes and ears. Comfortable seats and good service at my table. Pros: Wonderful experience more

Great Show, Amazing Sound Quality, Lots To See 5/16/2010

We had seats in the 4th row lower level and being a center stage, these seats worked out perfectly. I don't think that they sell out this auditorium because there was no one in any of the rows ahead of us, and the price tag probably has something to do with it. Our tickets came out to be $92 with a discount from the Mirage, which I thought was sort of pricey but the show is well worth it. This show at the Mirage was fun and entertaining. This being my first Cirque show, I can see what all the fuss is about. The performers (about 40 of them in this production) were insanely athletic and entertaining. Some parts of the show were kind of creepy (no faced kids marching around and freak show circus) but that's to be expected from a Cirque performance. There was plenty of Beatles music in the show and it was pieced together very well in a time line-type show. The quality of the audio was surprisingly amazing as well. My only complaint, which isn't much of one is that there was too much going on in the show at certain times. From trapeze artists bouncing up and down, to spinning dancers, to vagabonds wandering on stage and random characters jumping/dancing/crawling around its just a lot to keep your eyes focused when so much is going on. I would recommend it without a doubt, you can see how much work and preparation goes into this performance each and every day to make sure that people want to keep seeing the show. Pros: Well Constructed, Good Music, Captivating Cons: Sometimes Too Much Going On At Once more

Ripping off the Beatles' fans 12/23/2008

When I was a teenager, I liked to turn up the Beatles music really loud to get the full sensation off the music. For that, I was dealt with by my parents' yelling and if my parents were not home, my neighbors would gladly do it for them. Well, watching 'Love' is doing that again but with a license. They blasted the music a hundred times louder than my lowly hi-fi equipments at home can handle. It was great! Sadly, it's just that - a loud Beatles' music party. Everything else is forgettable. I could have used the money to upgrade my hi-fi system at home and turn up the music myself. I've seen many musicals & theatricals and I enjoyed most of them. In most stage acts, there are usually stories to tell. This one has none, other than marginally playing off the lyrics of some of the songs. In most theatricals, there are display of talents to be enjoyed and admired. This one has none. Just a lot of people dressed in colorful Yellow-Submarine & Sergeant-Lonely-Heart-Club-Band style costumes randomly bouncing off the stage with no discernable talents. I really think that if a few of them called in sick that day, nobody would know they were missing. And if anyone of them messed up on any of the acts, nobody could tell the difference. At the end of the show, I felt immensely disappointed and worst of all, cheated. I think someone knew that there are a lot of Beatles fans out there and decided to make easy money off that sentiments with the least investments in talents and creativity. more

Absolutely FANATSTIC show!!! 11/14/2008

Fantastic show -- really blends the music with a matching visual experience: I could see it 10 more times and see something new. Tremendous!!! more

For True music fans..... 8/3/2008

I grew up knowing all there is about the Beatles. When i heard they were doing a Beatles tribute I was excited. I definitly recommend this to any true beatles fan. To those who only went to see flips and comedy...then you should have gone to circus circus to see a few clowns. This show is for the people who want to experiance hearing the Beatles the way our elders were able to. Now I wasn't around when they were performing but now thanks to the wonderful people of cirque du soleil I was able to come really close. A definite must. Pros: The Next best thing to seeing them live Cons: Idiots that expected a circus act..when they ended up like the clowns!! LOSERS! BEATLES RULE more

COMPLETE WASTE 5/27/2008

This SHOW SUCKED!!! I wasted over 330 dollars seeing it on my recent trip to vegas. I had seen Mystere, which was good, and LA REVE, which was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING (if you have to see one show see this one). We had a few more open evenings so I thought we could see one more show. Basically just people jumping around to beatles music, as another post said (and not even dancing around in sync). The rollerskating part and the trampoline part onto the phone booth were the only mildly entertaining sections. Otherwise, I was fighting to stay awake. No funny parts. Pros: Music Cons: Everything else more

Not what I expected... 6/29/2007

I am a big Beatles fan and so when my husband and I went to Las Vegas recently we thought it would be fun to see this show. We've seen Mystere before so we were excited to see another Cirque du Soeil show. The theatre was cool and set up in the round so there really are no bad seats, although if you do decided to see this show I will recommend sitting near the top because of one part of the show that you won't be able to see otherwise. Anyway, after seeing Mystere we were expecting it to be another amazing show where you just sit there in awe the entire time wondering how the physical feats are even possible. We were truly disappointed as far as that goes. Not very much as far as acrobatics at all. It was mainly just people dancing around in fancy costumes to Beatles music... which in itself wouldn't be so bad especially if you like the Beatles, but for Cirque du Soleil it was way under par. I was just expecting what I saw in Mystere and this show was completely different. So if you don't mind seeing a Cirque du Soleil show where they just dance around in funny/cool costumes you'll like it. If you've seen a Cirque du Soleil show before, I wouldn't recommend this one. Pros: Cool costumes, set and music Cons: No very much acrobatics, underpar for Cirque du Soleil more

i love the beatles and i love cirque du soleil BUT this was just a waste of time!!! 6/3/2007

what a total and complete dissapointment!! after going to all the other cirque shows in vegas and being totally impressed(ka and o are amazing!!) i was expecting a lot more out of this show than what it was!! there was no WOW factor at all , none of the how do they do that acrobatics you get from all the other cirue shows.just a lot of running around and not very exciting or interesting dancings with a few and i mean very few and not very impressive acrobatics . i cant belive i spent $400.00 for two seats for this snooze fest, if you have seen the other shows and i have seen them all (ka,o, la reve, zoomanity, mystere) do not and i repeteDO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON THIS SHOW!!!!. you will be totally dissapointed! Pros: great music Cons: everything else!! more

Excellent show!! 5/23/2007

I've seen 4 other cirque du soleil shows(le reve, mystere, O, and Ka ) and this has to be the best one. The music blends with the performance beautifully. They even go as far as involving the lower section of the crowd in the show at one point! I don't want to give anymore away, but it's great! Pros: Music, Performance more

Absolutely fantastic theatrics 4/3/2007

I saw this show in March and it's a must-see. The stage is in the center of the room and the audience is on all four sides, so it appeared that everyone had a really good view. As far as how high up to sit, I think about halfway up is perfect. If you're too close to the stage you'd really be straining your neck to see all the acrobatics up in the air. And sit too high, and you wouldn't get the full impact of the stage work. This show was a great first Cirque experience for me. Having familiar music that you can tap your foot to made the experience all the better. Compared to Cirque's O show, the Love show is much better. I saw the O show the following night after seeing Love, and comparatively O seemed too slow moving. If I had seen the shows in reverse order, I probably would have had a better opinion of O. Love is definitely worth the money. Pros: familiar foot-tapping music, great acrobatics and dancing Cons: expensive but worth the splurge in the budget more

Higly Visual Show 11/26/2006

A must see if you are in Vegas.! Excellent experience, and how they recreate, and revive them, the most spectacular thing for me, was when beatles crossed abbey road.! more

Editorial
  • In Short
A friendship between Cirque founder Guy Laliberté and the late George Harrison brought this Beatle-centric production to the stage. The psychedelic trip uses aerial performances, extreme sports and urban freestyle dance in its interpretation of the quartet's songs, weaving through 130 recordings taken from the Abbey Road Studios master tapes. Highlights include the "Octopus's Garden" scene, which creates the illusion of being underwater.
