When i signed a lease with The Village i asked to for an apartment with no pets. However, when i got to my new place there was an annoying little dog living in my unit. It really bothered me because i specifically requested a place with no pets and i had already packed all my stuff to move. When i went back to the office they told me there wasn't any apartment available for me. I had to wait another month to finally move in. Within a few days, maybe even weeks, after moving I noticed some dark stains in the carpet of my room. I called them and asked if I could replace them with my money. They told me i wasn't allowed to do this and if i did they would fine me the day i moved out. Can you believe it?? I'm volunteering to replace those dirty-stained carpets (that i didn't stain) and they tell me i'm gonna get fined for it. Unbelievable! Besides these bad experiences, living in The Village has been good. The rooms are fairly large and comfortable.
