Worst

I went in for a simple trim and came out with a mess that will probably take me a year to grow out. I was extremely clear to the stylist about what I wanted, but she was incapable...

Great cut & color 12/2/2009

Robert understood exactly what I wanted in a cut and he executed it perfectly as noone else had in the other neighborhood salons. He layered colors to match my natural hair color as closely as possible. It was a relaxing and enjoyable way to spend the morning. He is a talented professional with a good eye. stunning hair and service 11/29/2009

As a mom of a toddler, I have few opportunities to dedicate time to my look. On a day when I was mommy free, I called just before coming in as a walk-in for a cut. When I walked in I decided I wanted color instead of a cut. They were so great in figuring out how to get me what I wanted with no advance notice. I was treated like an honored guest and long time customer, rather than a fickle walk in (which I was). Although the color didn't take at first, the results were stunning. My color (went red) is fabulous! Before she did a second application I had to go get my daughter from daycare and when I brought her back I practically got free babysitting. My daughter was entertained by the whole staff, leaving me free to admire my new hair! I am now going to be a long time customer! Pros: great results and unbelievable staff Cons: extra coloring needed more

Due to my profession I need to look my best at all times and I can only count on one person to do that and that is Robert. I have known Robert for over 15 years and I always look polished thanks to him. Great cut. Great staff. more

The Best Service in Town 11/23/2009

Robert has been my stylist for over 15 years and where ever he goes I follow. What can I say. He is excellent at what he does. He is a great hair stylist and colorist. When Robert cuts my hair the style not only looks great when I leave the salon but looks great until my next hair appointment. In reference to my color, well, I've gone from a brunette to almost a blond and have been loving it all the way. People always compliment me on my hair and ask me were I get my hair done and I always recommend Robert. Going to the salon is always a pleasure, very professional and the staff is friendly. Fantastic hair cut and service 11/22/2009

What a wonderful hair salon experience! Not only did my hair come out looking great, but it was exactly what I wanted. Moreover the staff had a lovely manner of being welcoming and friendly without being overbearing. I got an appointment for a trim on the same day and was happy for it to be completed in just under and hour. The price is reasonable for a nice salon in New York - I have paid more and less without much baring on quality. I am so glad that I saw the great reviews for Elements online! I pick element hair studio over ANY other salon any time & any day!!.. they have nothing but the greatest staff, & know how to do great hair. Very clean,friendly people. *I love them all*. I would not let any other person do my hair other then robert he to me is the best in what he does. And will say I'v been going to robert for many years & will keep going to him as long as i still have hair on my head. : ) keep doing what ur doing rob & steve i love u both jes. more

Best hair salon ever!! 11/13/2009

I've been Robert's client for over 15 years. Robert and his hairstylists are artists. They have a one of a kind gift. Everyone is very talented and creative. I love love love the way my hair comes out each and every time. I always get compliments on the color. Another perk is when you walk in you are treated with coffee, iced coffee, cookies, etc... I'v been going to Robert for years..Rob gives me the greatest hair cuts & fabulous colors, I will Defenitely Recommend people to elements any time..I'm Completely satisfied with Robert he's my absolute favorite hair stylist & friend he's attentive with his clients & there need's. Such a great person. Man what can i say about this place that hasn't already been said. Excellent service, Modern Salon, Friendly staff. I went in looking like Al Sharpton after a Howard beach brawl, came out looking like Salma Hayek lol. These guys are really good, and their customer service is great. No other place for me!!! 11/12/2009

I have absolutely nothing but wonderful things to say about elements. The best group of stylists around. Everyone is super talented and does such great work. I have been going to Robert for some time and will continue to go to him until he retires. At which time i will shave my head bald. I have never walked out of his chair with a cut i didn't absolutely love. He even makes the growing out/in between stages look great!! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Robert or anyone of his extremely talented stylists to anyone. Pros: excellent work, great location, talented stylists Cons: absolutely none!!! more

""Elements"" was highly recommended to me by many friends. When i finally walked in 2 1/2 years ago, i knew immediately this was the place. A unique aura about the studio. An aura of friendliness, respectability, a comfort zone. I walk out of Elements with great confidence and a chip on my shoulder. As for ROBERT, his hair artistry is ""genuine"", ""one of a kind"". best place for getting a new look 11/12/2009

This place is designed to make u feel right at home. The staff treats you like family and work at making each costumer feel good. The environment is very relaxing and welcoming. You can spend hours getting your hair done and time seems to fly simply because everyone is responsible for making you feel right at home..there is not one person that you will not like there.I know that once you visit elements hair studio you will fall in love with yourself because you will come out feeling brand new... I just happened to walk into elements about 2 years ago and have been going back ever since. I have been completely satisfied every time. Gabrielle is my absolute favorite hair stylist. she is honest, attentive and always has her clients best interest at heart. I just got a hair cut 2 days ago. I got a modern bob with bangs. It looks great. elements always steers me in the right style direction. Pros: EVerything is great here! the best is the way they treat you Cons: the only bad thing is the wait between haircuts more
