Gentech Dentist

I still go to the office. I think the service is professional and acceptable. However, Dr. Carl Christensen is an apathetic dentist in my opinion. Whenever there is a cleaning, he does not even really look 30 second inspection. I still go to this dentist office but I just tell the receptionist I prefer anyone but him. This office is amazing! Everyone is so kind and really tries to help meet your every need. As much as I hate the dentist, I really had an enjoyable experience and really wanted to share my gratitude with everyone! THANKS SO MUCH GENTECH IN BEAVERTON! more

I would highly recommend anyone to go to this dental office. I dont like coming in, but who does? The staff was very friendly and helpful. My anxiety definatly subsided the longer I was there. When you walk in the receptionist is always friendly and smiling. In the treatment areas the assistants and doctors are very approachable. HIghly recommended!!! more

OMG this is the best place ever! I walked in the door and was instantly treated with so much respect! I was offered coffee or tea and even found the newest edition of PEOPLE magazine. When I was asked to come back I was offered a blanket and a nice eye thingie. The doctor was awesome too! Dr Christiansen was really kind and went into extreme detail about all that needed to be done. I will definitly be back! more

I had to post this because dr Lee and her partner Tracey are the best ever. I have never found a dentis that has made me feel comfortable and my experiance was just great. They treated me awesome, they have so much patients and they take there time doing anything that they need to! The hole office is nice everybody there is very friendly and the office atmosphere is also very inviting! I dont do this often but I nelieve that when soemone is excelling at soemthing they should be praised! more

So i had to go into the dentist and have not been in a while bad news i had to have teeth capped, good news they were willing to work with me on a payment plan. The office was pretty nice waiting room looks a little dated with the furniture but overall clean and well put together. The girls all were very helpfull in the office and answered all the questions that i had. more

My daughter is terrified of the dentist. When we went to have treatment with Dr. C he was impressive with her, very understanding with her and comforted her when she was scared, the assistant was great as well, she had her treatment done with no problems, and said she has no problem going to the dentist, Gentech took away her fear and my fear of bringing her. I also have has wonderful experiences with Gentech, and I have been a patient here for 2 years, and in my opinion all of the dentists and staff have different area's of strength,and I would have no problem seeing any of them. more

I think everyone looks for a kindhearted, trustworthy dentist. However, finding a good dentist can sometimes take years. Luckily, I found my dentist. he has been taking great care of my teeth for one year now and I will not see another dentist. he cares about the long term care of her patients and takes time to listen. His staff is friendly, professional, and absolutely wonderful. And, I don't think I've every waited more than 5 minutes to see them or the hygienst more

I've been to a few dentists in the past who are constantly trying to upsell their services. This is not what you'll find at Smile Dental. They provide, honest and straightforward advice and they don't try and push additional services on you. The staff are knowledgeable and do a great job. My kids were scared of going to the dentist but Dr. Kumar made them feel comfortable and relaxed about going to the dentist. more

.My family has great respect for Dr. carl. He is a caring person and dentist with high quality standards. He is very current with new dental technologies and is good at listening to his patient's needs. We have known him since we have moved to Portland and he has always been more than helpful to us. I was so pleased with my experince at Gentech dentist !! As soon as I called for an appointment, the receptionist was friendly and accomodated my busy work schedule. When I arrived at my first appointment my first impression of the office was profressional and calming. They have a great waiting room with magazines, television, and soothing waterfall feature. However, I didn't spend a long time waiting, I was immediately greeted and seated. I felt very comfortable when the dental assistant offered me a warm neck pillow, a beverage, and a selection reading material. Dr. Christiansen then came to my side and was truely concerned with my pain, he quickly diagonised the pain and went right into 2 crowns. He was very kind and precise, and I was surprised to falling asleep in the chair. ( I was that relaxed) I am now happy to say that I have been going to this clinic for 2 years and am whittening my teeth. The results are amazing! You have got to come see Gentech! more

I love Dr. Carl, I feel really lucky that I found him and didn't have to suffer through another unpleasant dentist experience like I've done my whole life! His staff is really sweet and everyone makes you feel comfortable. more

I highly recommend Dr. Christiansen and his staff. What a pleasure to go to the Dentist! I have had some bad dental experiences and continuous pain for over 10years in my right jaw/gum where I had a root canal. I went to several dentists & an oral surgeon for the pain, including 2 very expensive Drs. recommended as "the best in NYC", and they could not seem to figure out what was causing the pain--perhaps TMJ, bite issues..., but ultimately , that it was "not dental related." I then avoided the dentist and "dealt" with the pain. Finally, I just couldn't stand it anymore...I went to Gentech initially because the office was right down the block...I struck Gold..or Platinum, in this case. He was the 1st to notice that the root canal I had 10+yrs ago was very badly done, the crown was not fitted to my gums & much too large. I also had shards of metal from the bad crown digging into my gums. Carl put me very much at ease during the procedures (the dental hygienist -was also excellent) . My jaw is now pain free after 10+ years --it has made a wonderful difference in my life- it has allowed me smile so much more. The doc and his excellent, warm & friendly staff will take great care of you and your mouth. more

Each time I have been in the staff has been friendly and prompt. I have never had to wait for more than a two minutes and many times have even been taken early. The doctor is friendly and very attentive to my comfort and any concerns that I have. They took the time to talkto me and answer any questions and have always been available to assist me at any time. When my tooth broke the fit me in there tight schedule and got me out of pain! more

As a physician, I am very particular about who I choose to take care of my own personal medical needs. His gentle touch and gorgeous office only scratch the surface of why you should go see this dentist. He is clearly VERY knowledgeable, takes the time to explain your dental issues, and deeply cares for his patients. No Pain, No bleeding... I just moved here from out of state and heard about Gentech from a coworker. I have never been so impressed with a dental office. They went above and beyond in every way. I look forward my dental appointments now. I would definatley recommend you check them out more

Dr. Christiansen and his staff are extremely competent and thorough. Not only is the work they do superb, but the customer service is outstanding. I can honestly say it is the first time I have not dreaded going to the dentist. I have recieved both routine dental work ups as well as having an implant and crown completed. At each visit I have experienced exceptional treatment. In addition, all costs and insurance are discussed prior to the visit so there will not be any suprises. I truly appreciate the service I have received from this office and highly recommed Gentech. more

I moved here from the midwest and someone I met at work recommended I check the office out. The office is beautiful. The service was great! What I really appreciated is they have morning hours starting at 7am til 7pm. My boss will not let me miss work for dental and medical appointments so it was nice to see how accomodating they were. My hygenist Rachele was very kind and gentle and Dr. nguyen was too. All in all I was very impressed with how I was treated. I felt like I was pampered from the beginning and would definately recommend them to anyone needing a great dental office. more

Gentech Dentist is hands down the best dentist I have ever been to. They let me listen to my own music and give me a pillow to use, I've never seen any other dentist do that! I've been going to Gentech Dentist now for 4 or 5 years and from my first appointment I was sold and knew I would be back. The health care workers Rachele, Dr. Christiansen, Rachel, Kelsey, Koda are all awesome at what they do, they all make me feel as comfortable as I can be at a dentist office.
