I travel all the way from Maryland to see Adria, but I know that my husband will always support me spending the money to get there when he sees the results. The salon doesn't look like much, and the atmosphere isn't anything special, but Adria's got the best seat in the house to watch the activity on the SoHo streets below. When I first saw her, I had no idea my hair could do the things she got it to do, and I'll always be grateful for that. She'll also make sure you've got the right color processes and takes care of the details like making sure your eyebrows don't say ""brunette"" when your hair is saying ""blonde!"" I met Adria by accident 4 years ago, looking for someone else, and I haven't used another colorist since. As a middle aged guy going gray I've been coloring my hair for the past 9 or 10 years. After bouncing between a few colorists and not finding someone who could make my hair look natural, I tried Adria. Little did I realize just how consistant she is until a conversation I had last week. A friend asked if I ever colored my hair. I thought I might as well come clean so I told the truth. I said, ""yes, but just around the temples and behind the ears"". My three companions burst out laughing and one of them said, ""Nice try!! You do not."" They thought I was trying to be funny!! So natural is Adria's technique that even one of my best friends wouldn't believe me when I tried to tell them. more

I came to Adria 5 years ago because my hair was brittle and dull. I went to a number of different salons and no one could do much. Adria looked at my hair and came up with a plan of action for me to repair the damage while keeping my hair long. She made a regiment of frequent trimmings and a semi permanent color on the root and moisturizing gloss. Since then my hair has never looked better! In the process of growing it we also experiemented with extensions. That helped a lot as the protein bondings on the extensions really imporved the condition of my hair after we took them out. Everywhere I go people compliment how shiny and healthy my hair is. I highly recommend Adria for her extensive knowledge and top notch service. more

I've gone to Adria about three or four times over the past two years and she's great! She spends some time thinking about my color and what would look best on me, and the price for a cut and color is very reasonable. I always get compliments on my hair when I leave her. more

Adria did a beatiful job with both cut and color, and the price was very reasonable (particularly given the amount of time she spent working with me). Because I had been using another colorist for over 4 years, I was nervous about working with someone new, but Adria was very responsive to my concerns. Would absolutely recommend her to others. more
