I would definitely NOT recommend this place. They are in the business of ripping people off. Very sweet to your face but watch out! more

HORRIBLE APARTMENTS!!! 8/27/2011

It isn't clean at all, dog feces are everywhere! The staff was friendly until there was a problem with the apartment, then they became some words that can't be said on here. The facilities are run down! They are overpriced too. You can find any other apartment in Layton that is much less expensive and they are much nicer. The model apartments look nice, but don't be fooled, this place should be condemned. The ceiling collapsed from water in the apartment below me and I got blamed for it even though it couldn't have been me and they had no proof it was me. I had just moved in the night before and hadn't even used anything that used water yet. Then, when maintenance was fixing it, they closed the door with an OPEN FLAME FURNACE AND WATER HEATER AND AEROSOL PAINT CAN...can you say idiot? Needless to say there was a huge explosion because the aerosol paint can ignited. The poor older couple in the apartment had to deal with the idiots for weeks trying to fix it. Management is great at stealing money. I had to leave the apartment because my life had been threatened by another tenant and management didn't care. All they wanted was their money for rent or the $2200 buy-out fee. I would never live here again and I discourage everyone that reads this to avoid this place. You can find better places for less money just down the street. If you want constant problems with stupidity or greedy landlords that don't care about you, just your money, this place is for you. But if you want to be treated like a human and respected as a renter and still have some money at the end of the day, find another place. more

Avoid 7/31/2008

I have been living here for 2 years. When we did the intial walk through. after signing a lease...we noted that all the closet doors are off the runners, and all of the drawers in the kitchen as well. We were told they would be fixed, after numerous calls, and the doors coming off the tracks daily, I fixed purchased and replaced new hardware myself. Oh, and be careful in the shower, the glass doors do eventually fall in on you while you are showering...they are also on tracks.\r \r When the heating or the air conditioner ( which barely works, and expect $300.00 monthly bills in the summer) kicks on, the air streaks (no exageration) grime and dust across the ceiling. It is impossible to keep the dust off anything. We received promise after promise to repair these problems. First with the management company that was running this place when we first moved here, and then again when the owner's terminated the management company and took over ( we re-signed because we thought things had to get better). At least the owners change the furnace filters, but this doesn't do much good when the vents are never cleaned. You would have thought that they would have at least done this when they went non-smoking.\r Do not walk on the lawn, dog dung everywhere. The sprinklers spot up freshly washed cars nightly. Speaking of cars, one of ours was accidently towed from our assigned parking spot. We now have three because it took us 4 months to find that out. They did pay the towing fee. This last week, 2 cars have had their back windshields smashed out. Yep, you guessed it, one was ours. When I reported it to the office (after filing a police report) I was told that they would enter the information in our file. We are paying $1065.00 for an apartment, where it is not even safe to park our cars, none of the doors or drawers work, it is constantly too warm or chilly, and the only thing we have received is more false promises. I am positive that there are much better apartments available. Pros: fresh paint on outer buildings, non smoking (indoors) Cons: poor maintance, vehicle vandalism, high heating/cooling costs, poor value more

Not that great 10/24/2007

There are so many other apartments in the area that would be much nicer for the same amount of rent or less. Just do a bit of research and you will find it is not worth living here. Pros: Close to a lot of great things. Cons: Management more
