La Quinta Inn & Suites Houston Galleria Area

The fact that I have stayed here for weeks at a time and the caring of the staff makes it special. It's close to shopping at the Galleria and close to Gulf Coast Vet Surgery for my pet. After staying here for Katie's hip replacements a month at a time, I am please and so is Katie. THe staff is warm, friendly and attentative...if you need something ask....they aren't mind readers but they are extremely pet friendly. This time is just as great as the last - you can also get a weekly rate....and as many times as I have been here Texas Tootie - I have never paid 150 a night....so maybe you are confused at what hotel you stayed at. If you check into a Hotel simply for the pleasure of having a good, night's sleep then this is a gem in the Bayou City. From the moment we arrived we were promplty greeted and taken care of by the office staff. We always travel with our two pugs and therefore, La Quinta is one of few Inns that do not charge for them so we keep coming back whenever we need overnight addomodations. Sorry, ""foodie"", I don't agree with your review--you should take issue with room clealiness and courteous/uncourteous staff and not complain about the cookie and water that awaited you in your room. Next time, go to Denny's before you come to sleep and stop your bitchin! In addition to La Quinta's low quality furnishings and high than expected cost, their service is simply terrible. Giving you a free bottle of water and cookie for >$150/night is ridicuous. Their frequent stay program in addition sucks. more
