i recently purchased a vehicle from this so called "establishment" from the minute i put my name on the papers it was a nightmare. i was promised my said purchased vehicle at a certain date, and it kept getting pushed ahead. they told me "it will be ready next week" you dont know how many times i heard that from them! they kept coming up with excuses as to why my vehicle wasnt ready.
the salesman i was working with was just your typical used car salesman. Troy Martoccia i think his name was, or something like that. anyways, they tell you everything you would like to hear. promising this and that. everything sounds good till you sign your name. then youre all theirs!
thats what happened to me!
i can not go into too many details because there might be an attorney involved to clean up this mess.
but regardless, its no wonder they are out of business.
but if you find yourself in my situation and have to deal with a used car dealership, and are thinking you want to support local establishments.... think again! go to a local WELL KNOWN dealership.
im not saying all used care dealerships are bad. i know thats not true by any means, but its places like platt's auto that give everyone else a bad name.
just a heads up for anyone.... stay away from Cottonwood Motors. they are located across the street from platt's auto. the above mentioned sales person works there now. id avoid them like the plague if it had anything to do with Troy Martoccia .
this is only my personal experience with the above mentioned people/establishments and is only my opinion. youre experiences may vary.
Cons: where do i start?
