I selected a nationally known brand hoping for good service and a job well done. It didn't happen. When setting up the appointment, I made sure to ask if the technicians would move ALL of the furniture to clean the carpets. I was assured they would. I asked again when they arrived if they moved the furniture and was told that they would move it and place any wood items on blocks to keep the wet carpet from staining. After the job was complete and they were putting up their equipment, I noticed the area under the treadmill had not been cleaned. I asked if they had moved the furniture and cleaned under it and they said yes. I lifted the ends of couches up and it was still dirty and the carpet was still dry. Of the eleven (11) pieces of furniture they should have moved, they only moved the two (2) bedside tables. I had them unload their equipment, come back in, move all the furniture, and finish the job right. When I asked if they had cleaned under the bed they said they did not move heavy beds, but had gone under the bed as best they could with the wand. That was a lie, because there was a folding table under the bed and it had not been moved. After they left (with my check for $549.00) I called the supervisor and asked, #1, why hadn't they done their job right the first time? and #2, why didn't they tell me when I set up the appointment that they don't move beds? The branch manager said they only move beds if they were on rollers. You guessed it, my bed is on rollers and they had really made no attempt to even check to see if it was easily moved. The manager called his boys, turned them around, and they unloaded for a third time and finally completed the job.
