Good Food for a Small Budget 3/25/2009

It's amazing that you can have a meal this good for such an inexpensive price! You can have a plate for under 5 bucks! You don't have to wait long for your food either. The servers are attentive, and if you're looking to practice your spanish, this would be a good place to come. I don't like dining in for lunch, though...Crockett is right accross the street, and the kids are loud and filthy mouthed! Pros: Food, Price, Service Cons: Obnoxious Highschool kids during lunch more

Great food, super cheap 6/20/2007

This place has some great, authentic Mexican such as barbacoa, pozole, and even beef tongue. They'll serve your tacos with either traditional Mexican (cilantro and onion) or American (lettuce and tomato) toppings. My personal faves are the al pastor items with Mexican topping...it's probably some of the best al pastor in Austin. There are really no cons to this place, everything is super cheap and you can get out for $5 or less. Pros: Food, prices, casual atmosphere more
