I have visited this salon on 3 separate occasions.. Each visit was worse than the last. The salon is overpriced for the services they render. A hair style for an event was over $8...

I like this spa a lot. Very soothing and friendly. I loved my massage from Susan. Came in hardly able to walk due to a lower back problem and left an hour later feeling great. Need to get back there soon.l more

Great Reputation Well Deserved 2/24/2012

Spa at the Lake really knows how to make you feel special and look great, even when you are only an occasional customer. Laura did one of the best jobs on my boyfriends hair. I bought him a gift certificate for his birthday and he decided to get his hair cut with it. Great service and she was so good at what she does. I recommend her. more

Ana is great for facials 10/29/2010

If you are a looking for an experienced Esthetician, I highly recommend Ana at Spa at the Lake. I have been a client of Ana's for almost 5 years and have never been disappointed. Ana is very knowledgable about the latest developments in skin care. She does not push products on you. She makes suggestions and offers her wisdom and I have never felt pressured to buy a thing. If I am not 100% happy with a product I have purchased, they will take my return without question. Their products are high end, so I know I can try things without getting stuck with it because most stores will not accept returns of items you've tried. When you purchase a package of facials, you will great a very good price. So, when you compare Ana's expertise with a good price, I have not found anyone else in Austin to compare. My theory is that I won't trust my skin to one of the many inexperienced, high volume clinics that are popping up all over town. more

3 unsavory experiences 8/17/2010

I have visited this salon on 3 separate occasions.. Each visit was worse than the last. The salon is overpriced for the services they render. A hair style for an event was over $80 plus gratuity and I still had to re-do my hair after I left the salon. My highlights were great on one of my visits, but that was the only "highlight" out of all of my visits to this salon. I will not be returning. more

Great expertise and great service! 12/13/2009

If you live in the Lakeway area and you are in need of a great hair cut and color, no need to go into Austin. It is convenient and prices are equivalent to any salon in Austin. They actually run specials if you get on their email list. I called yesterday (Saturday) and got an appointment today (Sunday!) with Theresa. Best of all, I walked out feeling fabulous. Best hair cut and color ever. Pros: Best hair cut and color in Lakeway Cons: None more

Best Makeup Artists 12/12/2009

Spa at the Lake carries Jane Iredale cosmetics which is such a high quality mineral makeup. The colors are beautiful and the makeup artists are so professional and talented. Not only does it look fabulous, but it lasted all night long for my night out. Loved it! I am a loyal customer from now on and look foward to checking out everything else that they have to offer. I got my hair done by Nate for the first time last week Hilites/Color and Haircut, i came in needing a change and new style and he totaly customized a hairstyle to fit me and my personality. Best Hair Cut by Danielle!!!!!! 9/19/2009

I had my first haircut with Danielle a couple of weeks ago, it is the best hair cut I have a had in a long time. I have been looking for a good stylist for several months now and I am so lucky to have found her. I have had more compliments in the last two weeks ab out my hair than i have had in years. I would highly recommend her to anyone!!!!!!!!! She is so personable and charismatic. I loved the environment at spa at the lake but I will go back again and again for Danielle! Nate's a rising star 3/10/2009

I just had my hair cut by Nate for the second time and I love it. He's so much fun and so talented. He listened to what I wanted and did just that, explaining what he was doing along the way. I recommend him to everyone no matter what your style or age is. He does a great job! more

I recently got my hair cut and colored by Nate at Spa at the Lake and I can't tell you how many comments I have received about how great my hair looks! Nate is an amazing hair dresser, he makes you feel incredibly important and takes the time to give you the best hair cut and color for your face. I recommend everyone ask for Nate the next time they want an amazing hair cut! more

Best All around Spa and Hairstyling 5/20/2008

I have been going to Spa at the Lake for three years. Denise cuts and colors my hair and she is tremendously talented and gives you what you want. People are constantly asking me where I get my haircut. Everyone that I have referred to her loves her. As far as the other services, they are wonderful. Massage and body scrubs are amazing, facials are great and manicures and pedicures, the best. Melissa, the owner, could not be nicer and the atmosphere is calm and serene. I start to relax the minute I walk in the door. more

The service was attentive, but not pushy. The treatments were bliss...I had a facial and pedicure both were to die for. The spa was clean and tranquil. I have been to many spas and Spa at the Lake is the best I've been to so far. I will be back. Pros: Great ambience and clean facilities Cons: a long drive if you live downtown, but worth it! more

The best facial ever 6/15/2005

I just got home from the Spa and I received the best facial that I have ever received from Marcelle! She was so soothing, gentle and sweet. Very intuned with my needs. Nice soft music and very relaxing. You go to her and you won't be sorry! Pros: great atmosphere, nice people more
