I ordered a piece of furniture and paid for it up front. I was informed a week later that it was on back order and they tried to sell me something else. I refused it and when i went in for my refund I Had a hard time getting it from them. The salesman Bobby was very rude and hostile. The owner will tell you he's his best sales man. They insisted that they had to refund my money through my debit card even though the money was drafted the same day I ordered the furniture. I was given no other choice but to allow them to do this. After he ran my card he refused to give me copies of the original sales slip that I originally had because he said the transaction had been voided. Money was not in my account yet so how could it be voided? I left and checked my bank account only to discover that he had drafted another $330.00 instead of crediting the account causing my account to overdraft. I called them back and went back to the store only to be told by Bobby that he had made a mistake. Never did he apologize for his ""mistake"" I asked to speak to the manager on the phone and he was just as rude and proceeded to have a shouting match with me. Told me Bobby was the most feminine man he knew I really don't see how this was relevant to the conversation. He told me that the refund would have to be done their way or I could just wait until the next day when he would be there. They now had $660.00 not just $330 and I am supposed to wait. Since I was given no other recourse I handed the card over once again and the machine would not allow it because it was a debit card and not a credit card like I had been telling them all along. Makes me wonder why this same error was not given to Bobby when he tried it earlier. Maybe the second charge was intentional and he didn't think I would check the account so soon. I finally walked out of there with a check for the total amount including the overdraft fee. When I spoke with the owner he was just as big an idiot as the others, couldn't make up his mind whether Bobby was his best salesman and had worked for him for 17 years or whether he didn't know what he was doing when he tried to credit my card. The only smart one there was the lady in the office. DO NOT SHOP AT THIS STORE. I'm sure they were trying to scam me. I did file a complaint with the BBB.
