Must be getting kick backs from someone at GCARC to harbor a dog and deem a non aggressive dog as an aggressive dog to cover up their crimes of beating her.\r more

He's a very good Veternarian but he is also very expensive. Visits average at least $150 a visit. Follow up visits are even close to $100. He knows what he is doing, but, a low income family could never afford him. No wonder there are so many animals out there that don't have regular vet care. A yearly visit is $150 and it costs $200 to spay a dog. Heartworm and flea medicine is well over $200 a year, plus the cost of the heart worm test before they will dispense heart worm medicine. So many dogs are dying because it is too expensive to buy medicine. This veternarian isn't the only one that is expensive...but, he is the one I trust with my dog. more

Customer for Life!! 3/1/2012

We had scheduled a surgery for our dog that they quoted at 282.00 but the day of the surgery the office manager said the quoted price was incorrect and the new price was going to be 430.00. When Dr. Scott heard that they quoted the wrong price he said he would honor his original quote even though they were probably doing this procedure for free! Quality and integrity is a hard combination to find in any field anymore but Scott Vet Clinic is swimming in both. more

Super Vet! 3/11/2011

I have taken my dogs to the clinic for 5 years. Dr. Johnson has been caring, honest as well as sympathetic with me about all of my animals. He even brought one of his own animals in to give a transfusion to my dog when she was so sick. I really appreciate all the entire staff has done for my pets. more

Excellent veterinary clinic 2/10/2011

We have taken our pets to the Scott Clinic for many years now. Both cats and dogs. We have used them for all our regular needs, vaccinations, etc, as well as emergencies. Never once have I been dissatisfied, or even questioned the results. They are particularly adept at both patient and people 'bedside' manners...and that is a rarity. Without hesitation I would recommend this clinic for all small animal care. more

Scott Vet Clinic 7/14/2010

I have been taking all of my pets to Scott Vet for more years thatn I can remember. They have taken care of my old pets that are gone now and new pets for years and they are the best. They have never taken my pets to the back without me for more than a couple of minutes to just take blood. Everything else was always done with me in the room and they have been the best to deal with. They have taken care of some of my older pets that got really bad with age and were very wonderful to them. I will always take my pets here because they are friendly and honest people and they care about taking care of animals. Pros: Excellent more

Kipper5555, get a dog with some manners and you wouldnt have that problem. Dr.Scott is a great vet, and his staff is wonderful too. I have never had a single problem with any of them and I have been taken my dogs to them for years. But then again my dogs know how to act when they go the vet. Pros: Good Vet more

Contray to the other post... 1/18/2008

When I got my pit puppy she had to be treated for mange. We used Scott Vet Clinic for 6 weeks straight. We had to drop her off in the morning and pick her up in the evening. NEVER ONCE did she come home with scratches, looking discolored, sick or etc. We had her boosters and everything done there, including getting her nails trimmed. We also take our cat there and we have never had any problems. Most animals will be shy after coming home from the vet and it is very common for them to not eat. Just imagine if that was you and someone stuck a thermometer up your rear end and gave you a bunch of shots, you wouldn't want anybody messing with you either. more

Treatment from Dr. Johnson, Dvm. and his staff 1/17/2007

We brought our dog to Dr. Johnson office for his annunal booster's (I.E.) rabies vaccinations and check Up. When the vet. and his staff were done with exam. Our dog had cuts on paws from his nails being clipped to short. He was gasping for air like he could not breath. And while the exam was going on in the backroom with Dr. Johnson and his staff our dog was screaming like somebody was trying to do harm to him. I tryed to go back in the backroom and Dr. Johnson slammed the door and said ""don't come back here"" I found this to be a strage practice. Our dog left his office with a blown vessel in eye, there was a cut on his nose and area around his neck was red in color. Our dog did not come out from under the bed for one week and refused to eat his dog chow. We are very dissatified with the way our dog was treated. We love him and treat him like he is one of our family. Our family does not understand why our dog was treated this way. Pros: Thumbs down sub- par and sub-standard service. Cons: would not recommened as stated above more
