very nice and clean place.the employees are very nice and helpful. last week my gun was jamming up so i took it to a couple of places but no one would really help, so i went to the range and told the guy at front counter my problem and he took it apart showed me the problem and fixed it in about 5 minutes. he didnt even charge me,but i bought him lunch anyway. i will refer all my friends there and it will be the only range i go to... more

I have been to this range dozens of times and the staff in very friendly and knowledgeable.I took my girlfriend he to teach her to shoot, we shot for about an Hour or so.I had a problem with my Colt 1911 ans took it to one of the staff and asked him to looked at it and he said he would be back in a min. a few min. later he came back and my 1911 work perfect again he told me some dirt got stuck up in the slide but he fixed it I asked how much he said NO CHARGE.I have spent 13 year with the Marine Corps i did not say any thing about it but when I opened my wallet to pay the guy saw my Military ID and said 10% off for military and that next time to let them Know that I am military.I recommend this range to ever body great place and great staff. more

This place is great! I have gone for about 6 years now and every time i go, i get great service. They have low prices like it is $8.00 to shoot(unlimited). They have low prices on everything there. They are very nice to the ladies, they have ladies day on monday(women shoot free all day). I have taken there CHL class and the instructor was great. The staff is great, if you go just ask for any of the workers. If you dont want to leave home because of a football game on Sunday, you can come and there is a flat screen TV to watch the game. So overall I love this place and I recommend Marksman Indoor Range. more

Remember this place since they had dirt floors in about '72. Of course nice now. The range fee is very reasonable and reloaded reasonably priced range ammo for sale. In other words, priced for enthusiasts , not catered to the well to do, like some other places I've been. Even had counter person during 2 different visits do some minor adjustments to my 1911 .45 to enhance operation. Pros: the staff Cons: none I ever experienced more

Been using this range since mid Seventies. Lots of LEO's and even Fed's practice here. Have gotten many invaluable tips from the friendly staff and of course other shooters. I have brought my grand daughter and numerous friends of her's here to learn. I took my CHL here led by a SWAT instructor that I would have gone to twice! My CHL picture looks better than my DL :-) YMMV? They carry reloads for common ammo at reasonable (in these times) prices and allow shotguns. No Steel or Slugs. Perfect place to learn to be comfortable with your home protection weapon of choice. Taking wife and three teenagers this afternoon. See you there! Pros: Every aspect. The range is older but really nice and clean. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, even to newbies like myself. (thanks James) They know their stuff. Just getting into shooting and glad that my wife and I went there first. They also allow shotguns which is a plus for me, just no slugs or steel shot. Kind of a drive for me, but worth it. Very attentive, polite staff. I've been five times in the last two months and have never had any problems. Seedier than normal customers and I do not recommend you get your CHL photo shot there. The 10-yard segment of the line is not well lit, but overall it's a pretty good place and the best price to shoot within a comfortable drive time from downtown. The range is well lit and ventilated, the staff is professional and knowledgable, & the prices on merchandise and the range fees are quite reasonable. The CHL class, which is a long all day class, was never boring and the instructor, a former HPD officer, was very good; he kept the class interesting and kept the emphasis on safety and restraint. Overall, a great range and gun store and I recommend it without hesitation. more

I shoot there as often as my time will allow, and take my daughters there also. My youngest got her CHL there recently, and they are very Knowlegable in all types of firearms and training both for the new shooter and the Pro as well. They also help to get specialty guns of all types , and will help to attain your collectors FFL as well. Thet will walk you thru the steps nesesary if you qualify. These guys have it going on at this business and will help in anyway that you need help They seem to know allmost everything there is to know about firearms, and if not , they will find the answer to your question as soon as possible to Helping me and my three Daughters and giving them complete answers to thier questions when they have themi am not trying to pump them up at all, just being as truthfull as I can without just saying a bunch of untrue stuff, but telling it as I personally see it from my stand point of being a well versed shooter , and also a competition shooter in hostage terrorist shooting and don't shoot situations and also no lighht, and low light training.Having shot may assauly courses with another club, I give these guys an A rating in most everything they do but also catering to Women Shooters as well. I have been shooting for 25 years. I used to live in Houston, but had to leave for a job. While visiting, I dropped back in to Marksman. It is better than ever. Affordable and congenial. Ladies are welcome. \r \r When you buy a firearm, you also buy the dealer. Marksman has 2 full time gunsmiths, and most everyone there can handle problems or offer help. They are friendly and helpful. Their classes are always booked up. This indicates that people are satisfied, and send their friends. They understand that the first time visitor may not be a millionaire, and are willing to fix you up with what you can afford, but encourage stepping up when you can afford it. I saw some real bargains in used firearms. They have a nice selection of holsters. They have quality ammunition for carry, and reasonable practice range ammo. \r \r The place is clean. The washrooms are sparkling. All the range stalls are working, and swept up. They are working on lighting and ventilation, making steady improvement. They have been there a long time, and are in it to stay. No high school kids watiing on you, who don't know anything. If they can't help you, they will cheerfully refer you to someplace that can. \r \r A good place to learn to shoot and keep up your skills.\r \r Dihedral Pros: Reasonable pricing. Never a wait. I've been shooting here for over 19+ years - always a friendly face and helping staff available. IMO Recent updates done to the entry/exit have improved the venalation. Pros: Location and Staff Cons: None! more

I have been to quite a few gun ranges around town. I have been shooting for years and my fiance just started shooting. The people here have been more willing to help than any other range. Plus they are the cheapest indoor around at $8 a lane and no time limit. The only draw back is that the ventilation system could be improved. Other than that, it is a top notch facility.
