I used Charlies to fix a problem with a toilet. I live in a condo and he had to look at the situation from the unit below me. The sheetrock was already cut open, but he had to ""cut more"" to see, and a $55 trip charge turned into $255 - I was charged 2 1/2 hrs. Also, when I called the technician back I got his voicemail and had to call the next morning and got the excuse that the phone had fallen behind his seat and he couldn't reach the phone, and could not retrieve the message because he did not have the password to retrieve messages from his own phone! Then, when it came time to fix the problem, a different tech was sent and acted as if he had no clue as to what was going on. Was charged an extra hour just because he didn't have the PVC pipe on his truck. (I could have gone to Ace hardware up the street and gotten it for $5, but a 8"" piece of PVC ended up costing me about $100 extra!!!! Then, after I wrote a check, they charged my debit card, and even thought they refunded it, it took and act of congress to get it reversed PLUS they inverted numbers and charge my card and extra $540. This was on Dec 23rd and at first was told not to worry, it would reverse itself in a few days. It was Christmas and I had to call 3 more times to get this taken care of. As for the overcharges for the PVC pipe and the""trip charge"", I was told someone would get back to me - Still haven't heard a word!!!!!! Will NEVER use them again. Very unprofessional and NO follow through.
