The food wasn't good and the price was too high for what you get. The place wasn't clean, (food on the floors, tables not clen, etc.).

Really Good Burger 5/23/2008

We stopped here for burgers one Sat. afternoon, and really enjoyed this little hole-in-the-wall place. I had a cheesburger with grilled onions that was really super. My only complaint is that they did not heat or toast the buns. With that correction, they'd get a five star rating from me. Pros: Juicy and tasty burgers Cons: Should heat or grill the buns more

Great Burger! 7/15/2005

My 1st visit to the Beer Garden was last night. The bacon, mushroom, swiss burger was great! We had a group of 4 and we all had burgers and everyone loved it. Service was great and the beer was cold. Onion rings were great also. It's only a mile from home, so I will be back often. Pros: Inexpensive, Great Burgers, Cheap cold beer more

The Best on the Lake 7/8/2004

My family and I have been eating here since they opened and have NEVER been disappointed. My kids absolutely love the place as does my wife (and she doesn't eat alot of meat). Give the Beer Garden a shot...you will end up coming back over and over. more

Galveston County's best kept secret...actually pretty good food at an insanely cheap price...don't let the name or the looks fool ya - beer not required...take the kids and kick back...a good old fashioned if ya can't stop, wave kinda of place... more
