Best seafood in SA, which ain't sayin' much 6/21/2011

In Corpus Chisti it would only be 3 stars. Since Water Street closed, I think this place is now the best in SA, but honestly it's only good, not great. I grew up going to the Black Diamond in Corpus Christi and Kings Inn just south of Kingsville and both places would blow this away. I had the Jumbo Fried Shrimp and they were very good, but not on par with Black Diamond or Kings Inn. If you like fried shrimp DEFINITELY buy the jumbo, not the regular friend shrimp. Hugely better. Family had assorted seafood plates and all were competently prepared, good but not quite great. Prices are pretty fair. I'd go here 100 times before I go back to Joe's Crab shack. more

GREAT SEAFOOD AT REASONABLE PRICE 7/15/2010

I visited the one by Ingram mall. I had grilled lemon pepper fish and shrimp lunch special. The place is very clean. Friendly host will greet you as soon as walk in. You place the order at the counter and pick it up when your food is ready. The food comes up real quick. Food is tasteful and fresh. I usually do not like hush puppies but there’s is so good. My friend had the shrimp gumbo and she said it is very good. They have extended menu and not just seafood. I know where to go if I am hungry for seafood. Pros: FOOD, CASUAL, PRICE Cons: NONE more

Wow....what a pleasant suprise. 12/5/2007

Very inexpensive and the food is incredible. Very fresh, good selection, a little bit confusing to order your first time. I would highly recommend the fresh fish of the day or my favorite, the stuffed shrimp. I wound up there 4 times in a week. Can't wait to go back to San Antonio!!! Good, inexpensive seafood restaurant 5/26/2006

Longer wait during rush hour, but overall good food for a very reasonable price. One of my favorite lunch places if I go before or after lunch rush. Mexican Fans of sea island 8/16/2004

We are from mexico, but my family has been going to san antonio for 20 years, and since then sea Island is our favourite seafood restaurant in all america!!!, since it was small and allways crowded in front of the noth star mall, until today that they have more restaurants in san antonio and other places in texas. some times we decide going shopping to san antonio just because of the SEAISLAND. you should deffenitely try it!!!..
