BEST PIZZA IN THE SOUTH!!! 3/17/2011

My friend lives over on Jones and 1960 and I just happened to stop in one day to get some pizza. I'm a new yorker, turned southern. Hands down, this is the best pizza that Houston and anywhere else below the mason dixon line has to offer! I've never tried anything else, but they're always fast and friendly and more importantly the pizza is always amazing. more

Not Italian Style food at all! 9/1/2009

I ordered mannicotti. It came wraped in lasagna noodles and all I tasted was mozzerella cheese and a burnt batch of sauce! It was like eating a cheese stick with burnt sauce! Didnt have a hint of cottage or riccota cheese. My friend had speghetti with burnt sauce! The speghetti noodles were thin noodles, surely not Italian style! Rude waitress. Will never go back there! And oh, they serve bread sticks with pasta, NOT GARLIC BREAD! Pros: Nice sign! Cons: BAD FOOD more

Very Disappointed 5/9/2009

We recently moved to Houston from North Carolina. We were looking for some good pizza in the area and came to Citysearch to find a good restaurant. The reviews for Napoli's looked very reassuring so we placed an order for delivery. We were told 45 - 60 minutes; no problem. After and hour and 20 minutes we called Napoli's. They said they'd call the driver and they should be here very soon. After an hour and 40 minutes we called back to cancel the order. I can understand that the driver had issues finding our apartment; however, Napoli could and should have comped the pizza for the extremely long wait. They never offered and never apologized for the painfully long wait. We will NOT be a returning customer to Napoli. Their food may be good; may not be good. What I can comment on is their complete lack of accountability for their delivery personnel. DO NOT order from Napoli. If you want their pizza for home consumption - pick it up yourself. Pros: Friendly Customer Service Representatives Cons: Delivery of Service, Customer Focus more

As a native New Yorker who has been a customer here for over 20 years I can tell you this is the best Pizza in Texas bar none. 2/6/2009

This place is the best vaLue and highest quality Piza in the city. I grew up in Brooklyn and have eaten all the so-called greats in NYC, Chicago, Vegas and all points in between. Napolis deserves to be tried by everyone, YOU WILL COME BACK. \r Pizza Uno and Malinati's don't hold up to Napolis.\r Vince more

WILL NEVER GO BACK 1/8/2009

The lasagna literally looked like gray dog food. I NEVER send food back, but this had to go. Was told this is their recipe for 20 yrs and the manager didn't have time to talk to me. The waiter practically threw the menu at us and told us to pick something else while he walked away. Very rude. I had their lasagna before and that's why we went back. This was not their 20-yr recipe and certainly isn?t what they picture on their advertisements. I couldn't believe how rude the waiter was and I didn't deserve to be treated like that. We left after paying for our iced tea, and for half the price of Napoli's, had a great meal at Taco Cabana. I've patronized this restaurant many times, but this experience was inexcusable. I hope the manager has time to read these reviews! (The restaurant was by no means that busy and I never asked to see him in the first place.) The most horrible customer service I've ever experienced. Shame on you!! Pros: Previous good experience at this restaurant Cons: No service, no respect, food quality horrible more

Relaxing ambience, reminiscent of Northeast Pizzareia, great pizza and service 12/16/2008

I had a relaxing dinner on a Saturday night with a friend. Our pizza was made to order (half veggie and half deluxe) and reasonably priced. It was delicious. The atmosphere was julibant and busy, very good signs of a successful pizzareia. They even have Sicialian slices! The waitress was polite and professional. They also make good coffee, another plus.\r Napoli's reminds me of a typical Northeast USA pizza restaurant, with the busy atmosphere, small scale architecture and jubilant atmosphere, fond memories. more

Better Pizza Than Luigis! 6/15/2008

I felt welcome and at peace just like any man is made for. The pizza reminds me of my old home in New Jersey. I couldn't eat it all so I took it home. I want to give a big great job to the waitress that served me and my family. It was the best pizza that I've had in Texas. It was better than Luigis. Well I hope you like it too. Pros: Everything Cons: Nada more

hahahahahahahahaha you are one sad loser, LATInos are the best and if you didnt like the fact that there were so many Hispanics, DUH there's always the door so you can leave!!!! I'm assuming you are not very smart, nobody was forcing you to be there.\r \r by the way Napoli's is great! more

""Lack of Service"" in 2007 11/10/2007

Our party of 10 professionals were treated with unexpected rudeness and lack of hospitality. The owner seemed to care less that we were waiting and others were continuously seated before us. Not to mention the availability of tables that could have been used if they had cleared the barrage of dirty napkins and plates that were stacking up on them. The owner threatened to call the police if we continued to question him about our turn to be served; that this was his private property. We hope the rest of Houston's restuarants do not pattern themselves after the1960's attitude of this establishment. Not Recommended. Pros: There are doors by which to exit Cons: Rude; Everyone not treated equally more

Not english speaking frendly, too many illegals! 8/21/2007

WE could not understand our server, spanish was being spoken all around even on the televisions.\r Uncomfortable atmosphere, I think if I yelled INS the staff would have dissappeared. more

Best Pizza in Northwest Houston. Awsome!!! 7/21/2006

Napoli's was recommended to me by many and lived up to the hype. I can't speak for any of the other meals, but they make one of the best pies in town. Tastes vary but for anyone to say that the pizza was ""so bad we threw it away"" was not eating at the right Napoli's. Awsome Pizza! Pros: Fast service and very cold beer Cons: Not much seating more

ok pizza 8/7/2005

wasn't the best pizza but not bad either, around the Cypress area it's hard to find outstanding pizza and their's had a nice taste but it wasn't ""oh my God"" good more

Best Pizza! 6/14/2004

Napoli's pizza is the best! I can take or leave the rest of the items on the menu, but the pizza is fab! The restaurant is never overly crowded and even when there is a crowd you don't feel like you're lost in the crowd. The service is good, the prices are great, and Napoli's is just a wonderful family restaurant. Pros: Family atmosphere, Great Prices, Awesome Pizza Cons: , Slow service more

The worst we ever had! 2/25/2003

I looked at the reviews on here and we went excited and couldn't wait to try it. We both love pizza! This was so bad that we threw it away! Never again! more

Back home restaurant 10/26/2002

Napoli's may not have the best ambience, but you don't eat ambience! The food is good, the portions good and the calzones are the best. Reminds me of the places I went as kid back home. Pros: Good value, good sauce, good calzones more

The pizza is great and the cannoli are fresh and delicious. more

If in the area, a must eat 7/26/2002

Good food I pesonally recommend the Sicilian Pizza or the Fettucini Alfredo but as the menu says ""not for the dieter"" Pros: Excellent Food, Fantastic Pizza Cons: Small, Cramped more

Not so good 7/26/2002

We have tried this place on numerous occasions because we live in the area. We have never had a decent meal here. Spaghetti carbonara is tasteless. Shrimp scampi? Don't try it! Tiny little frozen shrimp! Service and ambience is good though. We're through trying to have a memorable meal here. more

Great pizza and service 7/17/2002

Just had a large pizza there with my girlfriend and the pizza, music, and server was great. Pros: Inexpensive, Pizza was great, Close to home Cons: Beer expensive more
