I was recommend by a friend of mine to come to this bridal salon, I was excited because I heard that the consultants were nice and the prices would fit my budget. Now to start off I am in the customer service business, so I understand the pizzazz it takes to wow a client in an opinionated industry. Unsure of where the bridal salon was located I came to arrived about an hour early, I went to the front desk told them I was there and that I was ok with waiting because I was extremely early and that my mom was on her way so I would need to what for her. My MOH and I were walking around the salon looking at dresses and showing them to each other. We were excited to see that they had sizes other then a 10. (the previous bridal salon appointment only had size 10 and I am a 12/14). My consultant came over and greeted us with a ""wow you are early"", I told her yes I know I'm just going to look around. I told her what I was looking for and she started to pull dresses. My MOH and I also started pulling dresses she then came up and RUDELY said we were handling the dresses wrong and then demonstrated be pushing the rack wide open l-----l ""this is how you look at dresses, if you pull them you will mess up the fabric""... At that point I was embarrassed and ready to leave. I was unaware I was handling the dresses in a wrong manner and I would have been open to a lesson if she would have presented her self in a PROFESSIONAL manner. Yet I ignored her ignorance to customer service and told my self that not every store is going to understand how to communicate. So when we had around 8 dresses in the fitting room my consultant was ready to start putting me into dresses. Thats great! but again I had arrived to my appoint early and I was waiting on my MOTHER to arrive, she was very pushy to get me into the dresses. I finally had a moment of ""NO! I'm waiting for my MOTHER!"" Then my consult disappeared until my mom had arrived. When it came down to trying on dresses it was a get in and get out mentality. My consultant would ask ""Do you like it?"" and as you were thinking she would say ""No? because if it was the one you wouldn't have to think about it."" The size selection was not a great variety either a 6/8 or a 22w. I was put into many 22w which is fine I'm not looking for a perfect fit in a sample size dress. However it is very hard to visualize yourself in a dress that swallows you up, there were not enough clips in the salon to make it fit decently. Also it is hard to visualize yourself in a dress that you can't put on, when it came to the dresses that you too small to try on, my consultant would hold the dress up in front of me creating a look of the dress but not really wearing the dress. How can you connect yourself with a dress that you have not even tried on. And how are you expected to pay over $2,000 for a dress that you have not tried on. I left M2 Milan very disappointed and not feeling great about my dress size. If only I was this size could I try it on. more

I had a bad experience at another bridal salon ordering my dress so i decided to come here for alterations. Wow where do I begin. I was told alterations would cost like 100 less than what I was actually charged for starters. I am getting pinned and i find a belt that matches my dress perfectly. One of my bridesmaids puts it on me and I love it so much i am almost in tears, then a tall woman with dark hair starts shaking her head and telling me nope! You dont need that for that dress it's fine the way it is! Absolutely not needed! Uhm excuse me, this belt is 500 dollars, im willing to buy it because i love it that much and you're telling me no? I decided to purchase it anyways in SEPTEMBER and am told it is an 8 week order. Perfect.. I call back in November and I get told by Steve, the owner that is back ordered and won't ship until JANUARY! By this point I have had enough but for some reason I didn't cuss them out, probably because they still had my dress for alterations. back to that, I come in for a second fitting and a loop from the corset I had them put in pops out, there are crystals missing from my dress and a pleat is sticking out.... I tried to stay calm as they assured me they would fix it. I came back around January 13, which is when they said my belt would finally be in, and to pick up my dress. The lady who I have previously mentioned brought out my dress (Outside of the garment bag and dragging it on the floor) and I went to go pick up my belt from the counter. I was then told that it had just shipped that day and I would receive it 3 to 4 days later. I got a call on Feb 2 saying my belt was finally in, and i picked it up on the 3rd. Now, Let me just say that if you are big on customer service, people doing what they say they will, FAIR pricing, or anything pertaining to general excellence I would avoid this place like the plague. They are morons, complete morons. more

Not Reliable 4/10/2011

I ordered a bridesmaid dress. Unable to pick it up as I live out of town (San Antonio). Called to have it shipped. Steve said it would be shipped that day (March 30th) and be to my house by the end of the week. Called again that next Monday (April 4th) to say it hadn't made it. He said he would give me the tracking number if it hadn't made it by that Wednesday (April 6th). Called again on Friday April 8th. He said ""Oh! Here it is right here! I haven't shipped it yet!). Good grief. His excuse for not shipping it was that he hadn't run my card (even though i gave him my credit card number that very first time i called him). THEN........HE STILL CHARGED ME FOR THE SHIPPING. NOT good customer service and NOT good for repeat business. And I'm NOT impressed. more

Beware of Mommy Dearest - inflexible policy 3/29/2011

We went there to purchase a wedding dress. the clerks were very pushy however the dresses were nice. Apparently all dresses need to be ordered or at least that is what they say. We paid $500 down and the wedding was cancelled. We wanted to use the deposit towards a prom dress and even spend more but they were inflexible and not willing to work with us at all. Beware of what you sign because they do not consider good will nor good customer service. Needless to say we will never shop there again. I should have known better as I usually do not frequent businesses with poor customer service policies. more

Waste of time, and left feeling very stressed. 2/27/2011

I went to Milan bridal today after being told by a co worker that it was where she found her wedding dress. I was expecting that I would walk in to a soothing atmosphere where a bridal consultant would assist me in finding the right dress.I was totally wrong. Even though I explained what I was looking for, they only brought me a couple of dresses and I had to look through the racks to grab the rest for myself. I made an appointment the day before but I felt like they had just thrown me in with a bunch of other appointment that they couldn't handle. The girl helping me was actually very sweet though, but another employee was rude to me and the people with me a couple of times. I tried on a dress but quickly figured out an excuse to leave. An overview for this place is that it was stressful and no progress was made on finding a dress. I wouldn't suggest this unless you either know exactly what dress you are looking for, or you aren't picky at all because even when you try the dress on you have to fight to see yourself in a mirror. No pampering- just cut and dry dress racks. Not exactly the wedding dress experience I was hoping to have. more

RUN AWAY! As fast as you can! 1/5/2011

Where do I start...So my experience with M2 started off OK. I originally went in wanting a specific dress from a specific brand. They didn't have the dress so they told me that if I put down $100 + tax they could borrow the SAMPLE dress from the designer so I could try it on. Yes, I was fully aware that the $100 was non-refundable; not a problem. The dress came in, I tried it on, & loved it! They explained to me that I would need to pay off 1/2 of the dress before they could ORDER me a new one. (I emphasize on ORDER because they suggested I buy the sample....at full price. Um, HELL NO.) They gave me the price of the dress & I never signed an agreement or contract. A couple of months passed & I had some health issues which resulted in a life changing surgery for me....Which strained our finances a bit for a while. When I had some money set aside I made another $100 payment on the dress. Just before Christmas I had called M2 again to see how much I still owed so I could get the dress ordered. The NEW total they gave me was not the original quote they gave me before. It was about $200 more than the original quote. So over the Christmas break we visited our family & my mother-in-law surprises me by buying my dress in our home town. (at the designer's store) I called M2 to let them know that I had purchased a dress. I expressed that I was aware that the first $100 was not refundable, but that I would like the second payment of $100 refunded. The lady on the phone immediately got defensive with me and said, ""We have been holding this dress for you for months now with the intent of you buying it!"" I responded, ""WHOA....why would you be HOLDING the sample dress when you know I wanted a new one ordered!?"" Of course, the lady on the phone never answered my question...YEP, just like I suspected they were going to make me pay full price for a SAMPLE DRESS that has been shipped all over America and tried on by God knows how many women. She told me that I would NOT get any of my money back even after I reminded her that I NEVER signed a contract or agreement promising I'd buy the dress. This place has horrible work ethic and cannot be trusted! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY! more

You won't be disappointed! 12/18/2010

Almost didn't go there because of bad review. So glad I did go! The selection is great. and I got outstanding service. Not to mention a stunning Mother of the Bride dress. Don't let one or two bridezillas remarks drive you away! more

Greatest Dress Buying Experience! 10/21/2010

I recently got married and when I started dress shopping I was pretty sure what I wanted. I went to dress shop after dress shop. David's Bridal was the worst experience ever! The sales associated at Alfred Angelo had the audacity to ask me if my ring was real and was more concerned about making a sale then helping me find my dress. The final salon that I went to was M2. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by such a friendly staff who got right down to business. The owner of the shop made me her number one priority. What was so great was she asked me about my now husband and what my vision was for the wedding instead of asking me about what kind of dress I wanted. She truly cared about me and wanted to make sure that I looked beautiful on my wedding day. She picked a gorgeous Maggie Sotello gown and as soon as I put it on I knew. She then added a headpiece and veil and everyone in the shop had tears in their eyes. These women have become great friends to me and definently made sure that I felt like a princess on my big day! more

HORRIBLE SERVICE 6/28/2010

It was my first time at M2 and I will NEVER GO BACK AGAIN. I agree with Karyn about their high pressure sales tactics. The lady only cared about trying to sell the dress and she did it in a very rude and obnoxious way. I tried on 2 dress, one of the dresses was too big so she had to clip it together. I asked her if she thought it would look good and if the corset back would look the same as the other dress. Well, she said ""all corset backs are the same because all you do is tie it together."" I HAVE TRIED ON MANY CORSET BACK DRESSES AND THEY ARE NOT ALL THE SAME. THIS IS FROM EXPERIENCE, THEY ARE NOT ALL THE SAME!!! Not even if it's from the same designer. I was so irritated that she kept saying that and she said it while shaking her head at me as if we were asking ridiculous questions. She was condescending and her persona was just rude. Also, I talked to a lady that used to work there and she said that M2 was horrible and that their sales tactics were horrible. She said that the dresses don't have prices on them and so they will try to sell it to you for a higher price. I don't know how they do business with rude customer service. Absolutely unacceptable. To all the brides-to-be, don't waste your time here....go elsewhere. Cons: RUDE, CONDESCENDING, UNHELPFUL more

Extraordinary Service!!! 2/10/2010

I purchased my wedding dress in May 2008 from M2 Bridal in Houston. At the time I was living in SLC, Utah and had found my dream dress, but in a brownish color resembling a paper bag. With an August wedding, there was no time to custom order the dress. I called every state in the west that carried Sottero-Midgely dresses and none carried the dress or would help me. I had a trip planned to New Orleans and Houston the end of May and called every store in LA and TX trying to locate my dress. Christin at M2 Bridal was simply amazing and bent over backwards for me as a distressed bride. I came into the store, she calmed me down, helped me try on other similar style dresses, but I still wanted ""THE"" dress. She called me later that day telling me she found my dress in the exact size and color I needed. I have no idea how she did it--but she made my dreams come true! I was ecstatic, to say the least, and was thrilled with my wedding dress. I recommend every bride I know, to M2 Milan Bridal! Pros: best customer service, friendly, helpful more

Worst shopping experience of my life-- DON'T shop here!! 2/1/2010

I went to this shop to find my dream wedding gown with the hope of having the most special shopping trip of my life...... it ended up being a total nightmare because of the absolutely awful owner!! When I was at the store, I was assured by the owner that any of my bridesmaids could be measured at any dress shop, call in their measurements and their dresses would be ordered in their corresponding sizes (because they all lived out of town). Not ONE was right--- they even ordered a dress for my 7 year old jr. bridesmaid complete with wire cups for boobs and the owner REFUSED to either fix it or refund our money. When a few of the other bridesmaids called to speak with the owner about their dresses not fitting, he completely offended all of them by being condescending and unaccomodating--he made it clear that the dresses were NOT his problem. All of my girls had to pay to get their dresses fixed out of their own pockets because the owner absolutely refused to foot the bill for all the alterations. The experience at this store was a complete and utter disaster and was the ONLY stress from my wedding..... I would tell any bride to be to steer clear from this establishment.---they do not have their act together there!!! Pros: sales girls are very sweet Cons: the owner is AWFUL!! more

Best place EVER for a dress 10/7/2009

I've gone here for ever for dresses, and have never been disappointed. The staff makes you feel like you are the only person in the store, and will be completely honest about their opinions. I love shopping here for my dresses, and can't wait until I have another reason to buy one!! Pros: Staff, Service, Parking, Alterations, Fittings.. EVERYTHING Cons: NOTHING more

Horrible Dress Store 3/21/2009

I fell in love with a dress, but it had several flaws in the material. There were big stains on the dress that seemed like they were in the material. The hook was also ripped off and the dress just appeared to have been tried on way too many times. I was willing to still buy it if they came down on the price, but the owner still wanted $400 for a messed up dress. He was rude and did not know how to treat a customer. I would NEVER buy a dress here. Pros: good selection, nice employees Cons: dresses appear worn out, very high prices, rude owner more

Best Bridal Boutique in Town 9/5/2008

You know, this is the one of the most important times in a young ladies life. We dream we plan all of our lives in hopes of a very special event. I just wanted to post to let everyone at M2 Bridal know that they helped me accomplish my dream. I could not thank all of you enough you are all truly the best. Pros: Truly The Best more

Best Service, best selection, best prices! 4/11/2007

This store is the absolute best. The owner is so helpful. My sister and I had been shopping for weeks for that perfect prom dress. We finally found it here and unfortunately it wasn?t the right size and we couldn?t get it ordered in time so the owner is having it customized through alterations by having a corset back added to get it to fit! This is an identical dress that we found at Panache just a little further down 1960 for almost 200 dollars less! This store is a must if you are looking for a formal dress. Pros: Services, selection, parking, alterations, price more
