1) We did pull a permit, but the customer refused to allow the city inspector into her home. Our work has never failed to pass inspection.
2) There is NO SUCH THING as a "filter pan." If there was "NO WAY" for air to get into the A/C system, it would have been noticed immediately as there would be no air coming out of the registers, not noticed a year later.
3) Due to our territorial franchise agreements we were no longer able to perform non-warranty repairs in her area. We were happy to perform warranty repairs at her house but the problem she called about was UNRELATED TO ANY EQUIPMENT WE HAD INSTALLED OR WORKED ON PREVIOUSLY. We referred her to the franchise in her area. Despite this she was insistent that we come out. We were willing to do this, but were not able to get there immediately due to it being after-hours on Friday night and already having multiple emergency calls scheduled ahead of her.
