These guys love to lie. Anything they tell you, double it, and then expect to only get your car back halfway put together. It's tough to find good mechanics, and these guys sure aren't good mechanics. more

I took my car to Discount Quality Car Care because they told me they could diagnose my issue in two days. Instead, it took them over two weeks, during which time they ignored my phone calls and dodged my questions with vague responses. Terrible customer service, do not trust them or take your car here. more

When I got my car back from discount, the mechanics did not put one of my boost hoses back on right, causing it to leak boost pressure. What the heck guys? Not trustworthy! more

Discount quality car care failed to tighten the clamp on my intake hose, causing it to pop off while driving. Extremely negligent and careless - don't take your car here! more

BEST SHOP AROUND 5/26/2012

I have been taking my cars to Rick and Jerry for 15 years and I can tell you that all of my friends and family that needed car repairs by their shop are treated like family and like their own. I have been told by my friends that they have repaired problems that others could not. They accept the challenge with a professional approach and do what they say. DON'T TRUST ANYONE ELSE!!! more

Damaged my car, refused to pay 4/17/2012

Discount Quality Car Care never delivered on anything I was promised, then returned my car to me in worse shape than I dropped it off. Discount Quality Car Care then refused to discuss the damage with me and wrote me off. Never visit them! more

Ripoff! 4/12/2012

After discount BSed me about the turnaround time and the fact that they were open on Saturday (they aren't, don't believe them) I received several ""upsell"" attempts disguised as ""oh this part is bad you need a new one"". On further investigation when I showed them the part was not bad, they said ""oh we meant it could fail soon"". So I'm looking for a more honest mechanic, if anyone has a recommendation? more

Lies, lies, and more lies 4/11/2012

The amount of lies told to me by Discount Quality Care Care is astounding. Lie #1: ""Your car will be diagnosed in 2 days!"" Reality: 2 weeks Lie #2: ""you need to replace this, this, and this!"" Reality: One switch was bad, as pointed out to me by the dealership when I refused to believe Discount Quality Car Care Lie #3: ""We didn't damage your interior at all!"" Reality: Discount Quality Car Care got grease on several spots of my leather, permanently damaging it. They then refused to pay for it. DON'T TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!!! more

Honest, trustworthy, competent mechanics 7/8/2011

We've taken our business there for 10 years. I wouldn't go anywhere else. They go out of their way to accommodate our needs and I can't recommend them highly enough. I didn't know there were still honest mechanics in the world, but you will find them here. more

Honest work 4/23/2009

They really do care. We have taken our cars there for years. My first experience was with an elderly suburban that I basically said do what you need and cost is no object. The work they recommended was much less than I expected considering I gave them a blank check. They had checked it over well and had a list of items to do now, to check later or optional. Great place to do business. Pros: Honest, reliable, do good work Cons: Only open every other Saturday more

Excellent customer service & fair prices 5/29/2007

We have used DQCC for years - they are the best kept secret in Oak Ridge North. Sam & Rick are very knowledgeable on all types of cars whether they be foreign or domestic, sedans, trucks, or SUVs - they know their vehicles. They will tell you exactly what the problem is, how much it is going to be, & when the vehicle will be ready - nothing hidden & no surprises when you pick up your vehicle. I have referred friends to DQCC, & they have been very pleased & have continued to use them for everything from state inspections to oil changes to major issues with their vehicles. It is so nice to have someone in the neighborhood who treats the customer with respect & honesty - just like a small town repair shop should be who not only remembers your name, but the history of the vehicle as well. Thank you Sam & Rick for being the role models you are for Oak Ridge North - that a person can find an honest car repair shop that still believes in fair prices, customer service, & integrity. This is bar none the best auto repair shop I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. They are 110% honest, friendly and their knowledge is seemingly limitless. In a world filled with rip-off con artists and scammers (especially in the automotive repair world), DQCC is a breath of fresh air to say the least. I would (and do) recommend absolutely anyone to go here. Of those I have recommended DQCC to, all have been just as satisfied as I am. Keep up the great work guys!
