I have used LPC for two years and honestly would not go anywhere else. I feel like they really care about what I want in a job and take that into account. more

LPC was a lifesaver. I have used other personnel agencies in the past, but they in no way compared to the level of service I received with LPC. It felt like LPC actually listened to what I was looking for in a job instead of just viewing me as an average worker. I now work for a great company and love my job. Great staff who care! This was my second time going to LPC for job placement. I applied online via a job search site to one of LPC's postings and was contacted the next day to come in. The interview was painless and the testing didn't take long. After about two weeks and a few interviews with good companies I was just hired direct with a great company that was within all of my required criteria. I went to LPC Personnel in June after being unemployed for almost 3 months. I tried finding a job on my own but it just was not working. Everyone that I met at LPC Personnel was nice. They found me a temp position within days. Any time that I have a problem or questions they are understanding and fast to help. I found out that my assignment is ending this month and my recruiter has already started to look for another position. I worked for another agency in the past and it was not a great experience. So if this has happened to you, please give them a chance at changing your perception on Staffing Agencies. more

I have had a hard time finding a job so I decided to contact this staffing agency. I had an interview with a older lady and she told me I had a great resume and she wouldn't have a hard time finding me a job. I called a couple days later to follow up with her and she said she was gathering up jobs and she had a couple and would contact me on Monday. Monday came along and nothing I called Tuesday and told me about a Job and ask me if I wanted it and to have an interview today (Tuesday) I said yes she told me to get ready and she was going to call them to see what time they wanted to interview me today... So I got ready for an interview And she never called me haven't heard from her in a week. Then i was wondering why she only told me about one job if she told me on friday she had several jobs lined up for me... I called her back twice different days and they she wouldn't be in the office that day... Over all they have not helped me with finding a job. more

I found a job on my own but I want to warn everyone that if you want to make over 12/hr, that after the first interview you will be treated like crap. I met with my staffing agents who gave me a ton of job options. They called me over the next two days with more job opportunities. All the opportunities they presented were incredible and they completely exceeded my expectations. Within merely 3 days of meeting with them, I had an interview at a major company. And, two weeks later I had a job offer at an amazing company. If you have a good work and educational background, LPC is a great option. They will get you amazing interviews, but it is up to YOU to have all the right skills necessary to get the job. more

Was invited to interview for an advertised position for which I was 100% qualified. The minute I walked through the door and they saw I was 40something, it was all over. There were several 20somethings there at the same time who were tested and interviewed; they didn't even bother to test me, perfunctorily interviewed me, rushed me out the door and wouldn't respond to calls or emails. This is an agency I have used for more than one temp position. The entire office staff is respectful and courteous, in person and over the phone. Their positions are well paying as well as having a great clientele in the Houston area. Anyone who has been laid off or needs a temp position LPC is an outstanding company to work for! I am disappointed I even have to give it a star. This is an employment agency from down under. A couple of months ago I worked for them for a few weeks and was completely disguisted by what I witnessed.They have so many job ads up which could be a good thing....but when you apply they dont consider which job you even applied for to begin with. They schedule interviews with EVERYONE AND ANYONE. Bring you in, fill out an application, run a full background chek, and then tell you they will match up your resume. Sometimes this is a bold faced lie. They have different names for people, so if they tell you to call back and ask for tracy, they think youre crazy or dont want anything to do with you. They really only match up the people that they think are appealing. If you have a slight accent, they most likely wont help you. The names they have on their ads or when they answer are not real people. And really the best they are good at is lying straight to your face. The recruiters are nice and are doing what they get paid for. The owners are complete bipolar idiots. I highly recommend spending your time with another employment agency that will better suit your needs and will actually give you the help you need.
